After a full day of me wanting to pull my hair out, I finally got a response. I called over a dozen people yesterday and got to look at a whopping 2 places! After a pounding headache and some major bitching, Ben and I looked at both places. The first was in an old Victorian style building, but the layout of the apartment was all wrong. We would feel very scrunched.
The 2nd place was over double the size, and only $100 more than what we are paying for in Charleston. The area is great, the layout is perfect, and it even has it's own washer and dryer in the apartment. The downside is we have to pay all utilities, and there is a pet and cleaning fee. I think we can handle it. I called this morning, and it's ours!
We can move in by this weekend!
It's about time!
