Once upon a time,in a land far away,
Over ten mountains and ten great lakes,
There was a little girl living all alone in a beautiful green-blue forest,
Under an old oak tree.
In front of the Old Oak there was a stream,
It was all shiny and pearly and cold.
One day the little girl decided to leave her shelter and go,
To find the place frome where the little pearly stream started to flow.
And so she went and along the way,
She gained many friends,who gave her shelter and hid her away.
One day she stumbled on a tiny waterfall and suddenly realised,
The pearly stream was magical,
Because it flowed from this ground.
There was tranquility in this place,
And deep silence,
No bird dared to make a sound,
Not to brake up the silence.
The little girl was tired,so she rested her head,
As soon as she closed her eyes,
She fell asleep like she was dead.
As she slept,she had a wonderful dream,
She stumbled upon a beautiful butterfly queen!
The queen spoke to her in a soft and low voice:
"Tell me what your heart desires and it will be fulfilled!"
The little girl spoke to the queen and told her all about her good friends,
Who helped her day and night.
"I wish to stay here,be part of the green-blue forest,
I wish to protect all my friends,the animals and the plants!"
The little girl cried a bit as the queen touched her cheek,
"Your wish is granted my dear!"
The queen spoke and disappeared!
The little girl slept and slept,
And she woke up in the morning,
"Where am I?"-she asked,with eyes still sleepy.
Then she looked around and realised where she was,
And as she turned,she gave a little scream!
During the night she was given beautiful butterfly wings!
Her wish came true,she became one with the forest,
She flew on her beautiful wings and followed the stream,
All the way up to the Old Oak,
Where the creatures of the forest awaited her arrival.
She cared for the green-blue forest from that day on,
And she was no longer nameless,
She was the Green Fairy,
Under this name till today she is known.
