I will always love you, I promise

Should I tell the one I long for,
The way I truly feel,
Because Im scared of what she will think,
Will she say she feels the same,
Or will she drift away,
Never to talk to me again,
Never to look my way,
Never to mess up my hair,
Poke me,
Tickle me,
Write me a note.
I dont want to mess up this great friendship,
Forcing my feelings on her,
I dont want to loose her forever,
Just because of a stupid slip up,
Never again to teach me how to play guitar,
Or to talk to me as "Just friends",
But I feel so much more,
In this thing you call a heart.
My emotions build up,
Stress of knowing you're with him,
I know you wont say if I was,
To ask you the single most important question,
But do you feel the same about him as I do for you?
Ill wait for you to come around,
Sure it hurts me to see you with him,
Talking to him,
Reading his notes,
But I will wait aside because I dont want to screw this up,
