This was for Friday, but I never got to do it...
my list for that day:
donate blood to cancer patients
dinnish half of my painting in art class
study for my history test during lunch
take a nap when i got home

none of these things were done...some of them i probably couldnt have help, most of them infact...well, maybe even all of them...but anywho, without delay, here's what happened:
morning:
no tea...so that meant i didnt have anything to drink for lunch ($#*@&$#@$@) or else i had to buy lunch...but line lasts forever which would mean no studying and i would probably be late for class if i did study and that i wouldnt have a spot at the lunch table with my friends...so, that set a marvelous tune...i didnt finnish both waffles my mom made me and when i said i was full, she was upset, so i felt bad...i was late coming down and we were in traffic...so i got to school without much time to study...which i didnt....also, i had signed up a slot for donating blood in the morning, during art class, so i wouldnt miss anything academic.....after waiting for 20 minutes (my stomache was in knots since i had never done this) i filled out the applacation and they ran some test on my blood...the tests showed that i was anemic...i didnt have enough iron (2 points too low) to donate blood...they really upset me, i was looking forward to donating blood and wearing an "i donated blood" t-shirt through school. i was feeling so bad that i didnt get as far i would have liked to get on my painting...bummer...

afternoon:
religion class: forgot my homework and had to go through my daily dose of "i cant believe that damn white girl is raising her hand AGAIN" from my classmate behind me...perfect to raise my spirits...NOT...for lunch, i didnt have my tea and after getting bashed in religion class and not being able to donate blood, i had no appetite...quiz went well...i think...and i hope since i didnt study for it...the rest of the day went pretty good...i picked up my school's newpaper to read then let my mom read. i went outside and turned on my phone, but instead of calling my mom like i usually do, i flipped thourgh the pages of the paper. my dad called out for me to come, so i thought "great! my dad's picking me up! i get to home early!" i put my stuff in the trunk and got into the passenger seat.

THE WAIT:
he said to not freak out, but he had some bad news, mom was in the hospital and she might have a blood clot in her leg. that hit me...BADLY...that was the longest car ride home...i got to talk to my mom and i didnt know what to say, so i asked how she was....how stupid..she paused then said "peachy", our quote on how things always were...we picked up my dog from the office (mom always brought her there to go to work with her)
my sister who works with my mom and is much older than me, was still in shock...mom had been in the emergency room since 11:00am, when she disovered that she couldnt walk on one of her legs. when dad and i got home, i tried to do something, watch tv, play on the computer, sleep, ANYTHING to get my mind off of mom...it was driving me insane...he left for the hospital without me to wait with mom and her friend...i called my best friend to tell her what happened...then i waited...and waited...
6pm: dad called and said the they had just done a sonagram and he was looking at the results and he thought he saw something but he had to go....REWIND..."what did you think you saw?" he replied "nothing, its nothing, i have to go bye" and he hung up...he knew he shouldnt have said that...
6:49: the GREAT AND EXCELLENT NEWS!!!!
he called and said she just pulled something badly and would need a velcro cast for the next month. WHEW...i called my friend and told her the news...that was the longest afternoon of my life...almost 4 hours seemed like days....currently, my mother is at hhome, carefully guarded by my dog and watched over by my dad, and i am the "housewife" i do the grocery shopping, clean, wash clothes, cook, etc...joy...but anywho, i'd rather that than....well.....you know...
