PuppetOokamiRyu
Puppet is not especially bright, but he's got a good heart and a strong sense of justice. He's the gardian of my mule account, and a lover of fire. His origins are unknown, but he seems to be some sort of wolf/dragon hybrid.
Puppet also seems to like to eat things out of the trash. Why? Who knows? And there's no way you can have nice things around the house with him about because he has an uncanny tendancy to destroy them. He's also pretty curious and gets himself into a lot of mischief that way.
Shard
Shard is half human and half monster. The chain he wears is not only his main weapon, but it also caries a powerful enchantment that binds him against hurting people. If he even thinks about hurting a human, the chain hurts him...hard. Further more, if he keeps it off for more than about an hour, he'll die. His scarf was a present from his mother (who is his human parent), and he's a litte bit of a mama's boy. Just don't point it out to him, he gets all huffy about it. His wings and tail are covered in slime, but his wings are far too tiny for even a glide, let alone flight.
Shard isn't very friendly at all and he usually comes off as a cold-hearted jerk to most people, but he's not really that bad once you get to know him. He's not the touchy-feely type, though, and doesn't like to show his softer side at all...ever. His favorite passtime is eating cute little woodland animals alive...slowly and painfully...and he eats everything from the pelt to the bones. He also does the same to people's livestock and sometimes their pets (which is what lead to him being bound in the first place)... But, really, he's one of the good guys.
Rald
Gentle and kind-hearted, Rald's parents were both moderately powerful demons. Unfortunately, Rald was born cursed with a human heart and a pure soul, making it difficult to live any kind of normal life in the demonic realm, so he came to the mortal realm to figure out where he fit.
He is forgiving and very loyal to those he considers friends, but to those who betray him or threaten his life or the life of those he cares about, he shows very little mercy. After all, he's still a demon, and even the wrath of a kind demon can be Hellish.
Back storys are fun, huh, folks? Yes, they make me all warm and tingly inside... And help the audiance connect to the characters more easily. Or, in the case of a certain sand ninja, makes you want to tie him down and give him the biggest dose of Prozak that's legal to prescribe... (All you Naruto fans out there know just who I mean too. That boy needs therapy and lots of meds.) Anyway, I've talked too much now... Back to buisness 4laugh
