Haha ... Hey Kids.

Well today was an interesting one, that's for sure. Anywhoozits, here are the happenings of the day :

7:05 am : Frosty the Snowman alarm goes off. I wake up, eat some breakfast, get ready for work.

8:25 am : Head outside to catch bus to station.

8:39 am : Arrive @ Bus Station. Light up a cigarette and grab a newspaper. Walk over to my bus stop and see a FELLOW TEACHER from the daycare!! I ask her why she is there, because she was on the 11-7 shift today. She says, ME, MISS GRAPE, is on the 11-7 shift and that I am wrong!! I do not believe her of course because MISS GRAPE IS ALWAYS RIGHT!!

8:40 am : Call Work. Ask trusted fellow employee if I am truly working the 11-7 shift. I am. Good call. I say goodbye to fellow co worker and walk back home feeling kind of ... well ... STUPID !!!

9:00 am : Arrive home, make some coffee, and watch The Young and The Restless before heading out for work - for real this time.

10:30 am : Run out the door to catch bus to station.

10:31 am : Realize my CD Player batteries have died, run back inside to get more batteries.

10:33 am : Stand outside waiting for bus which is supposed to arrive @ 10:37 am.

10:37 am : No bus.

10:40 am : No bus. Start walking furiously to the bus station because my 2nd bus leaves @ 10:43 am and is ALWAYS ON TIME.

10:45 am : Arrive at Bus Station to catch 2nd bus ... but of course, as always, it left ON TIME @ 10:43 am. 2 minutes late. Sigh. So I have to wait for another bus. I light a ciggy and puff angrily on it while listening to Snoop Dogg. Lol. I am supposed to be at work by 11 am, so I call them to let them know I will most likely be at least a few minutes late.

11:05 am : Arrive @ work, not too late but still frusterated.


11:06 am - 6:00 pm : Work work work

6:15 pm : I notice that one of the children who is usually gone @ 6pm or before is still at the centre. The centre closes @ 7pm.

6:30 pm : The child is still @ the centre. No call from parents.

6:45 pm : I call my boss to see what's up and if she has any other emergency numbers for the child, because I have called every other one @ this point.

6:58 pm : Child's mother calls. She had a flat tire, and her cell phone died. Poor lady. More like POOR ME cuz I had to be there till 7 . (I usually get off around 6:30 or 6:45)

7:00 pm : Boss lectures mother on being late and not calling. I have to wait around so I can get a ride home from boss. (If I took the bus now, I wouldn't get home for prolly half an hour or more.)

7:14 pm : In the boss's car, have to wait for her to get her purse and open the gate.

7:24 pm : Arrive home FINALLY. Jesus Christ !! (Hope no one reading this is overly religious)

That was my day ...

Then around 8:00 pm CandyIsland calls and tells me we have to go out and meet up with some buddies who we haven't seen in like a year. It was fun! Just got home now ... 10:09 pm ... got home prolly 15 mins ago tho ... yay me ... bye !!
