Sooooo... new Halo 3 TV spot. Ahh, can't wait! But I have to, so I'll deal. Anyhow, from the new trailer...

-Pistol is back (looks like it could be the Halo 1 pistol, as the nose looked flared)
-Somebody's wielding what looked like the Fist of Rukt, so Tartarus probably has a replacement.
-Said replacement looked to be flanked by armored brutes (Elites are out of the Covenant, right?)
-Chief uses some shielding device; how that will work in first person is to be seen.
-Chief stores guns on back, a la Gears of Wars or Mercenaries. What difference that makes in a First Person perspective is beyond me.
-MONGOOSE!!

2007 is going to be good for video games.
