OK, so I'm playing Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, and I'm doing a Fighter's Guild quest where I'm supposed to stop an all-female team of thieves. Apparently, they seduce men, lead them somewhere remote, and rob them. So I go along with their plan when they approach me, but I turn the tables at the meeting place.

ANYWAY

Only one is there to meet me, and it doesn't take long for her to realize I'm not going to be conned. She calls for her friends, so I figure the proper thing to do is to ice her. HOWEVER, apparently she hadn't engaged me in battle by the time my blade met her throat, so it registered as a cold-blooded murder. As such, in my sleep the Speaker for the Dark Brotherhood approaches me and makes me the offer to join the "family." Me, who up until now was as righteous as they come. I decided to go along with it, and now I'm officially a Dark Brotherhood Murderer.

I'm still going to try for Divine Crusader. xp
