Well, no more sleeps until the last day of school! We had our assembly today and showed the annual Teachers' Christmas video, of which I am a huge part since I co-write it, help to film it, and then do all the editing on my computer.
This year it was a parody of "The Trailer Park Boys," meets "CSI," meets "The Pink Panther." It turned out wonderfully. (Yay!!!) I must say that our starring actor, a colleague of mine, makes the video as amazing as it is. He is SO FUNNY!!! 4laugh
I am always nervous on the day of the big screening, because by the end of the three or four weeks of filming and editing we have done, I never really know if it's as good and makes as much sense as I hope it does. I have already seen it too many times and can't judge it for myself at that point.
So, the kids laughed at all the right parts, and they said that the plot made sense too, which was a tremendous relief. Another successful year, and another pat on the back for us.
And now I am just waiting for the day to end so I can carry my tons of stuff to my car, drive home and begin the HOLIDAY!!! I'm so excited this year. And then it's three more sleeps 'till Christmas day!!!
