I’m gonna write about my third day of school, but for those people who are impatient, just read the next sentence and then skip down to the “Friends and Acquaintances” section.
ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL I FELT DEAD. Like, y’know, like, NOT THERE.
Once again, my new school is Hugh B. Bain.
Alright, let’s get started. I forgot about my first day of school already. xD
…also, pay attention to numbers in parenthesis. At the end, I will explain why I had put the numbers there.

Daddy came in my room in the morning and to wake me up. When he left, I fell asleep again. Then daddy came in a few minutes later and woke me up again. This time, I got up, limping to the bathroom to get cleaned up and then back to my room to get dressed. Gods, I was so sleepy.
Once I reached downstairs, I felt my pants loose. I had discovered at that moment that I forgot to change my sleep pants. So I put down my backpack and went back up to change into my jeans. Then I went back downstairs.
I ate my breakfast and did my hair into a high ponytail. (my specialty. >_> wink I was freezing the whole time. I bet daddy turned down the heat because it costs too much. So after I ate breakfast (consisting of two crackers and a cup of milk), I sat down and watched the end of “Ten Brothers”. Once it was 7:39, daddy turned the TV off and told me to get ready.
I went to get my orange coat without complaints. The day before, I was pissed because the orange coat was ugly, but today, it was freakin freezing. I put on my shoes and exited the house.
As I anticipated, it was freezing outside. Daddy pointed out that the windshield on my brother’s car had ice on it.
That made me shiver and I got even colder. I hurried into the car.
When we arrived at Hugh Bain, we parked in front of Ichiban!, a Japanese restaurant across the school. I hadn’t noticed it there before.
When everyone started hurrying inside, I said bye to my daddy and rushed across the street.
I went to my locker (C115) and then took a while to put my coat, backpack, and unneeded things inside. (1)
I waited a bit for Elizabeth to arrive at her locker. Elizabeth was my so-called escort, who has all her majors with me. When she did arrive, I asked if she could come with me to get my Free Lunch Token. (2) She said yes, and then she went with me to the cafeteria on the third floor.
When we got there, they said we needed to go to the main office to get a slip. Then we went to the main office and back, and the Mrs. Lopes gave me a lunch token.
We went back to homeroom, and surprisingly, the bell didn’t even ring yet. We waited a while for Bain TV to come on. Once it was on, we stood up and did the pledge of allegiance, and then we listened to the national anthem. Not to be disgraceful, but it was kinda corny just standing there listening to the national anthem at school.
Anyways, they made announcements and then sports news, since our school has a lot of after school sports.
The bell rang. I heard that they were having a spelling bee, so we’re missing English. I was so happy.
Mrs. Grace took us to the auditorium and like I had expected, there were un-cushioned seats. I wasn’t too happy about that, but I sat next to Brianna, so I wasn’t alone.
It took a while to get everyone seated, but soon the spelling bee started. The teacher announced the contestants and the alternatives. I discovered many other teams besides the Dream Team. (3)
There were the Masterminds, Champions, All-Stars, Excalibur’s, Genesis, Olympians, and a few others. (4)
The spelling bee started with easy words, such as ‘book’, ‘always’, and ‘friend’. This kid spelled ‘every’ as ‘evry’, but he realized his mistake and respelled it.
Then, I spotted this REALLY cute Asian guy I had my eyes on.
I can’t really describe what he looks like, but he:
Has Chua hair times two.
Has Jeff’s voice, ‘cept deeper.
Has my 3rd grade friend Anikki’s face. (5)
And his face kinda looks like Chua’s too. Only a little bit though.
Anyways, he’s cute, but on the second round, he got eliminated. I wasn’t surprised. The first row, which consisted of 8 people, only had 2 left. (6)
The rest was boring. The winner was this girl and the runner up was this boy.
Then I went to Social Studies with Brianna and Elizabeth.
We worked on our maps of Latin American countries. I happened to have Nicaragua, and it was hard finding mountain ranges. Probably it was only because I didn’t have the right resources.
SS ended quickly, and I asked Elizabeth to take me to music. I asked if she was going to come back for me, and she said yes. How nice of her.
Anyway, I entered my music room, being greeted by a retarded trumpet noise from the other room. Dylonia said hi, and I sat behind her. I didn’t know anyone else, except for this short boy named Andy.
He looks a lot like my friend from 3rd grade, Kevin T. Kinda cute, but not too much.
The teacher asked where I was from and I said China, along with this other kid. I felt a little retarded, cause then I figured out she meant what school, so I said Nathanael Greene.
Anyway, she taught us some notes, and the class sang three songs, one by Mozart, one by Haydn, another by…Beethoven? I don’t remember.
(Interesting: I found out that old violin strings were made up of clean, twisted up cat guts.)
Music ended quickly as well, and I headed outside to wait for Elizabeth. She saw me, and then took me to desktop publishing.
I shook hands with the teacher, he’s really nice. And he’s really funny too, unlike Mr. Cure from my old keyboarding class. I sat next to Kathleen, a girl I didn’t really know, but had a lot of classes with.
I found out that it wasn’t like keyboarding at all. It was desktop publishing, so I had to do a bumper sticker and soon business cards on Microsoft Publisher.
It was boring, but it ended even quicker. I didn’t really do anything.
I walked back to my locker. I was surprised I remembered where it was.
I put my notebooks away. Liz and one of her best friends, Marisa, were waiting for me. Trust me; I don’t think Marisa likes me. She never smiled at me before.
So then we went to lunch. We put our books on the shelf and then I lined up for lunch, while Liz lined up for buying snacks. (7)
Behind me was a quiet girl that looked really…scary, then behind her was…THAT ASIAN GUY. That Chua+Jeff+Anikki guy. He cut these two boys in front of me, and they pushed him back for some reason, and he almost crashed into me. Luckily, I stepped back just in time. (8 )
Cute Asian Guy started talking to those two boys. He got his lunch, which was a hamburger and mashed potatoes, and I stood and waited behind him because I didn’t want him to be behind me.
I got some pineapples (9) and gave the lady my lunch token. Then, I went to the third table in the cafeteria, where Liz was.
Also, across from her was this Asian girl who was trying to draw Kisa from Fruits Basket. I asked her what volume it was, and she said it was 5 and then it got all quiet. Che. Freak.
(Interesting: I already found 3 people reading manga, almost all being Fruits Basket.)
When I finished my pizza, I threw the remains away and then went to retrieve my books.
When lunch ended, I followed Liz to science. Brianna started talking to me on the way there. When we lined up, she started talking about how a chemical burned a hole in this girl’s shirt once. Liz joined in half conversation, and she didn’t know what was going on.
Andy was staring at us funny too. No, actually, he was staring at BRIANNA funny. Yes, that was it.
In science, the teacher, Mrs. Spock, said my new partners were Meaghan and Nancy. I said okay, and they talked with me for a while.
Mrs. Spock gave me three cups; one cup had 10 mealworms (10).She also gave me a bowl with cheerios inside.
Nancy showed me how to crush the cheerios, and I did it myself. Nancy was freaking out from the worms, and Meaghan just looked like she was tired of Nancy’s immaturity.
I tried to convince myself I wasn’t afraid of the mealworms. (11)
When I was done, I put the same amount of crushed cheerios into both empty cups.
Then, I stuck a spoon inside the cup with the worms. It was disgusting, how I had to scoop up the mealworms. I found two dead ones. It was pretty apparent they were dead, because they turned all stiff and black at the ends. Nancy laughed evilly each time I found a dead worm (only found two, though.)
Eugh…anyways, after science was pre-algebra. We did a few problems and learned how to multiply and divide monomials.
Afterwards, we went in the social studies room, which was right next to the math room.
Brianna was trying to get hand sanitizer in some boy’s eye. She got in trouble.
We finished our maps and the she said we could do anything we wanted, as long as we were quiet. So I finished my math homework.
At my locker, I put in my damned, heavy pre-algebra book inside, and then the notebooks I had with me. I also decided to leave my backpack in there.
When I checked for my pencils, I noticed my cute pink Happy Bunny (no, not the happy bunny that says “I’m not listening” or whatever) was missing. I frantically searched in my notebooks.
I finally decided it was in my locker, and just when I turned to leave, I noticed the pencil underneath this boy’s knee. I think he was named…Michael.
Either the math teacher saw me searching, or he just saw the pencil, he said, “I hope someone will pick up that pencil, I don’t want it.”
Michael held up the pencil.
“It’s not mine.”
I took it from his hand.
“See, someone took it.” The math teacher said, smiling.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t own something like that pretty pink pencil.”
I was smiling when I left the school. Michael was a good guy, I guess. Kinda short though. I didn’t really like him in him beginning.
…well, there you have it. I’ll also tell you guys about my electives.

Health: My teacher is a woman that wears fake eyebrows and nails. Dylonia is also in my health class. It’s boring in there.
Music: Dylonia is in there. Annoying p***k. The teacher’s pretty nice, and kinda funny.
Art: Teacher’s nice, kinda. Old friend from 3rd grade is in this class.
Desktop Pub: No one I really know is in that class.
Gym: In a small gym class with boys and girls. Trying to rip students off by selling gym uniforms for $12.
Spanish: …what the freak is going on?

Now, explanations:
(1): Lockers in this school are only half as big as the ones in Nathanel Greene, but a little deeper.
(2): Each morning, people who gets free lunch has to go to the third floor (to the caf.) and get their lunch token. If they forget or are too late, they don’t get lunch that day.
(3): I’m part of the Dream Team. :3
(4): Of course, the 8th graders got a bunch of cooler team names.
(5): Anikki is a boy I was with in 2nd and 3rd grade, and seen him throughout 4th and 5th grade.
(6): Cute Asian Guy spelt avarice wrong. When he spelt it, I felt as if he was right, but after I thought about it for a while, averise doesn’t really sound like a word.
(7): There is a shelf on your right when you enter the cafeteria. Everyone puts their books there so it doesn’t get into their way of eating. Once they finished their lunch, they retrieve their books.
(8 ) : I mean, I don’t really mind touching him, but then he’ll know who I am and that itself will cause a lot of trouble. Besides, I don’t like him that much yet.
(9): It’s a rule in the school you have to get 2 sides, including the milk, so I picked pineapples.
(10): Mealworms are like grubs. They are like worms, but they have legs and their bodies are stronger. They turn into beetles.
(11): I get shudders when I think of bugs. *sweats*
Random note: I had a dream about this hot anime character named Kaga. So, it was like this. Antoinette was driving me to school, and I kept yelling for Kaga. Even though the windows were closed. -_-;
So then I went to breakfast and lined up, then Genesis came behind me and said hi and that she missed me. I smiled at her.
Then I told the lunch lady I wanted lunch (but I was at breakfast…right?), but she said no because I don’t belong in the school. I was about to cry, and I yelled for Kaga again.
Ohya, that dream was right after my other dream. When I cut my hair. O_O

Friends and Acquaintances
Elizabeth: My “escort”. She’s nice, and tolerable. She lets me follow her everywhere like a lost puppy. But on Myspace, she’s a totally different person. She picto-whores herself, and says stuff like, “aint i sexy” and “sexy beast is in the house!”. ._. Otherwise, she’s a good person.
Brianna: Kind of annoying, but one of my only friends. She’s funny, sometimes. Sometimes, I just force myself to smile or laugh at some jokes I don’t get. I have all my majors with her.
Andy: Short Asian that causes trouble. ._. Sounds familiar. He’s pretty hardworking, though.

Meaghan: Very mature. I mean, really, she wasn’t scared of the mealworms! And she’s very smart and nice. :3 Not so talkative though. D:
Nancy: Funny and squeaky when it comes to bugs. I tried to scare her by placing a container of mealworms in front of her and she screamed. xD (tsk tsk tsk…May, you’re causing trouble already.)
Edwin: A boy that looks like Alan, except he has brown hair. And he isn’t retarded.
Marisa: Smart girl, but she doesn’t seem to like me. D: One of Liz’s best friends.
Michael: Pretty nice guy who claimed he had moved, but he came back. He said he’s going to move the following year. He said I looked familiar, and I guess he’s a good guy.
Michael: Another Michael. He’s kind of nice, kind of mean, kind of stupid, kind of smart, kind of ugly, kind of not too too ugly, and kind of…I dunno. Weird?
Deb: A black girl that is ******** GOOD at basketball. *teartear*
Serena: Deb’s best friend, or so it seems.
Zack: I took many of his seats. After all, on my first day, he was absent, and all the classrooms and full. :3 *has many classes with him*
Rachel: A girl with green braces. She’s nice; she tried to talk to me a few times.
Autumn: A girl in my gym and Spanish class. She’s not too well liked.
Chanda: An Asian girl that’s cute. In my Desktop Pub. and gym class. Pretty nice.

Wow, so much had happened on the first day! Who the ******** has lunch on the 3rd floor!!??? ((I find that retarted)). Well, I'm happy you have some friends and that you have a semi-crush.
