CHAPTER 5:
West of Cyllaron is a lovely, and peaceful continent called Rosplain, nothing more could compare to Rosplain’s beauty. Rosplain is the home to all that is beyond the beauty that we know as the ‘fantasy’ world. Common habitants are elegant sirens, mythical dragons, fairies (which are often seen in one part of this world which, is the Western desert which; are to usually seen by the mortal eye.), Griffins or hippogriffs, and lovely swift moving elves.
Rosplain is separated in 4 different sections, however; mostly everything is placed in one area. Towards, the north is the famous casino town Redwood, where the elegant and fancy is Ivory Coast Hotel is found. Towards the west is the western dessert, however; this desert is not your average desert, the desert is full of life and trees. This forest circles a small elven village known as Mira. Towards the south is another large forest named Rosplain Forest, this is a magical forest filled with mythical creatures, and odd looking beings. This forest is enchanted, and to make way to the other side the Athena’s harp is needed. The forest circles a shrine Rosplain shrine and a small fishermen village named Nicorere. Where the eastern winds blow, is where the large city Feral and a small port town, Patos is found. Both places are under Imperial guard surveillance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Why is it always the same thing everyday?” questioned a cat boy who gazed blankly out of a window. “Mark, why don’t you get Ryoho? I believe she stayed at the bar last night” Mark’s yellow cat eyes glanced at the red headed woman that had gently ordered him to go to the bar. “I swear she basically lives at the heavenly forsaken bar” Mark stated as he made his way across the room and towards the door. “Mark remember she is like a mother to you” Mark’s eyes sharply turned to her, the woman always mentioned this to Mark, by now Mark was no longer expecting her to stop quoting this “Hannah, Ryoho is more of a best friend than a mother, I’ll never think of her in such a way” and with this stated the boy exited the house to retrieve his friend. Hannah giggled silently “that kid…” and shortly after returned to her work. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ryoho was a woman of grace and intellect; she always had the answers for everything. She looked rather tomboyish with eyes that were as deep blue like the Cyllaronian oceans. She was a constant drunk, to her an exiting day consist of wasting her months worth salary at the bar. The woman’s demonic looking tail flicked from one end of the room to the other. “More whiskey please” she spoke with a slur. “Okay Ryoho, last one” with this last call the woman jolted to her feet and with a surprise tone in her voice she stated drunkenly “last call! LAST CALL! It isn’t the last call until the call…is…the…last drink, call” she broke out into a laughing spree and returned to her seat. The bartender cocked an eyebrow; he was used to this behaviour. Ryoho was always the type to giggle at her stupidity. “WHO DO THINK YOU ARE?!” Ryoho attempted to keep a straight face before she snorted into laughter once again.
By this time Mark had arrived and supported her “Ryoho lets get going” she looked at Mark with fuzzy eyes and soon replied “oh hi BUDDY!” she threw her arms around him bringing him into a tight hug “lets get going” I got to pay and—“the bartender shook his head “it’s on the house, go home Ryoho sleep“. Ryoho laughed again as she remarked “home would mean going back to that devil town everyone calls Forelock” they ignored her and Mark supported her out of the bar and into the streets of Redwood. “Why do you insist on being so helpful?” questioned the brown haired woman, “why not be a kid like the rest of the 13 year olds out there? Mark your 13, its sad seeing you living a life like this” Mark shook his head his grey black spotted cat ears twitched, followed by the graceful movement of his orange hair. “I don’t have time to be a kid, plus I got better things to do.”
Ryoho snorted into a silent chuckle “Heaven, I would die to be your age again” Ryoho stated, she was actually sobering up. Mark smiled as he looked at her; silence filtered their atmosphere…”GIMME BACK NOKUE’S FORK!” Cried a short girl, Ryoho and Mark watched the event take place. They saw a dog being chased, by a small child looking girl; the young girl had long red hair tied into a high ponytail, and big framed glasses. On her back were a set of yellow wings, and she wore a chef’s jacket puffed out at the bottom. She flapped her wings however; her feet remained on the ground.
Inside the dogs mouth was a fork like wand. “Help me!” the fairy figure cried out and continued her chase. Ryoho and mark had exchanged glances at this time. Before they continued on “are you feeling well?” Mark questioned Ryoho, there was a sudden pause between the two, and a grumble was heard from Ryoho’s stomach, “actually…I think I drank a bit to much."
