I called my parents today to find out that mom quit her job. I am happy for her, she was miserable there. This just means I need to speed up my search for a new job here. My parents were helping me pay for stuff while I didn't have a job. I talked to them about all the issues with my old job, and they wanted me to quit and offered to help until I got a new job. I could go back to my old job...but the manager there doesn't seem to realize that me not being in class does not mean I can always work. He literally had me be there 30 minutes after I got out of class until closing. If I go back there I am going to have to lay down the law saying what days specifically I can work, period. But I really didn't like working there...and my parents probably wouldn't like me going back to work there...so I don't know...we'll see how money stuff pans out.

Hopefully I will be hearing about a new apartment for the fall soon. They said the latest they would contact me is the beginning of Feb. **crosses fingers** The place I want allows me to have my kitty (instead of hiding her like I do now....) plus has a fireplace and a washer/dryer (no more going to the laundro-mat!) Plus it has a lot more space than my current apartment, with less people! I am super excited.
