“Where am I? It feels…feels so…weird. Like I’m in some sort of a new…world…Where can I be? Hello? Is anyone there? Mom? Dad? Luna? Guys! Where are you?”
Straightening her back, Crystal walked around aimlessly, hoping to find someone. Peeking her head into bushes and looking in every cave she had found, Crystal had no luck in finding anyone. The only thing she had found was a Diamondback Rattle Snake. Other than that…nothing was found.
Sitting down, leaning against a rock, Crystal sighed deeply as she looked into the endless sky of the many emotions of man-kind. Squinting her eyes, Crystal saw something blink rapidly in the sky. Jumping up, Crystal placed her hand over her eyes, as if to make a pair of binocculars, then she saw something strange and out of the ordinary. She had spotted a comet.
It was coming down quicker than the speed of light. Hesitating, Crystal ran for her life. The comet only 30,000 feet away, Crystal ran on blindly, crashing into some boulders but avoiding the thorned bushes by jumping over them.
20,000 feet away.
“What will I do? How will I survive this?”
10,000 feet.
“s**t! It’s coming in fast! Somebody! Please help me!”
5,000 feet…
Stopping, Crystal kneeled down.
“It’s hopeless…I’ll never make it alive…”
2,000 feet.
Crystal covered her head and whispered to herself, “This is it. This is how my life will end…”
700 feet.
“Dead.”
300 feet.
“It’s getting hot now…I’m done for…”
90 feet.
A tear rolled down Crystal’s cheek.
46 feet.
“Best look at what’s going to eliminate my life…”
23 feet.
“Hmmm?”
18 feet.
“It’s slowing down? But it’s huge!”
13 feet.
“Why wait. I might as well lay down now…”
10 feet.
“It’s getting hot now…”
Looking in front of her now, Crystal saw something else glow.
“What’s that?”
8 feet.
“Hello? Wait! Don’t go!”
Crystal jumped up and ran once more.
“Maybe he can save…or my mind is playing tricks on me one more time before I’m destroyed…Better not destroy my hope now…I’ll keep on running.”
11 feet.
Crystal still ran on. Almost a tree’s width away, Crystal noticed something strange. Looking back behind her, she noticed that the comet was going away from the ground.
“What the hell?”
14 feet.
“Woah…I wonder if-hey! Mister! Don’t go!”
Turning back around, the person in front of her started disappearing.
“Don’t go! Please! Please…”
Slowing down, Crystal started to lose hope. Coming to a complete stop, tears started to roll down her cheeks.
“He’s gone…I knew it was too good to be true…”

“It’s coming back down…I’m dead.”
Hugging herself, Crystal closed her eyes and awaited her death. But then, something wrapped it’s long, slender arms around her waist. Confused, Crystal didn’t dare turn around, afraid that Death was wrapping it’s arms around her to take her to the underworld.
“T-take me…just get it done and over with…please…”

The mysterious figurebehind Crystal whispered gently into her ear.
“Why must we run?”
“Huh?”
“Why do you want to escape?”
“B-but…wait. Who are you?”
“Your worst nightmare. The love of your life. A trusted friend. Whichever you prefer.”
“My nightmare? My friend? My…love? What do you mean?”
“I can be all, or I can be one. You chose but hurry. It’s almost here.”
“The comet? It is almost here!”
“Yes. It is.”
“But if I call you my love or my friend, why you trying to kill me?”
“Then I’ll be your nightmare…”
Hits the ground. Fire is aroused.
“My nightmare? But, why?”
“Because, if you’re dead, only I can have you. Only…ME!”
The mysterious figure tossed Crystal into the fire and forced her to stay in the fire for her pain and all of her worries would be washed away.
