Dreams and Psionics
Dreams!
Okay, I've had a bit of deep thoughts on this topic, and I've come up with a make-shift theory on dreams and premonitions found therein. My theory is that memories are not simply past events slapped together into a single movie-like show, but a collecton of past and future memories into a whopping presentation, in which are shockingly true at times. Think of it like this: Due to the fact that time is simply an illusion used to keep the world running smoothly (I base this upon the facts that each specific time zone has a different time, and that if you have two people, one being asleep and the other awake, time will pass differently for both), there is no set "present." This allows for certain loops in the time continuum, in which you see events to happen in a specific timeline, given you continue to follow the road you're on. I also have another theory, psionic abilities. I address this theory in my next topic.

Psionics (Telekinesis, Telepathy, the such) And my Predictions.
Humans, in my opinion are just a few generations away from developing psionic abilities, such as telekinesis, telepathy, and abilities similar to that. My belief in this is based on premonition-like dreams that a majority of humans have in an amount of their slumbers. Given that these premonitions are a dominant trait, it is very possible humans are not that far away from psionic, or psychic, abilities. If you throw a Punnett Square together, with uppercase "A" as the symbol for telepathy, and lowercase "a" as the symbol for a lack of telepathy, and have both parents heterozygous, there is a 25% chance of possessing telepathy and being homozygous, a 50% chance as receiving as an inhereted trait and being heterozygous, and a 25% chance of not receiving telepathy at all. Through a homozygous telepath (receiving AA at birth, or 100% chance of inheriting telepathy) and a homozygous non-telepath (received aa, or 0% chance of inheriting telepathy) reproducing, there is a 50/50 chance of the offspring being a telepath of some sort. If two homozygous telepaths were to reproduce, the chances of inheriting a form of telepathy would be 100%, making all offspring from said pair 100% telepaths. If this keeps up, the entire human population will possess a form of telepathy, and this could possibly lead to the development of more psionic abilities, including telekinesis, and many other psionic-related abilities.

The biological approach is pretty awesome (I hadn't really thought of it that way, but you're right). But honestly, only generations? I kinda think NOW. I mean, you have the fakers, but then there are the real psychics. Yeah, I actually think you'd be kind of interested in "The Gaian Psychics Guild" and "Be Thou in my Visions: A Christian Psychics Guild", we get into some pretty interesting discussions on psionics, religion, dreams, and a lot of other various psi-related tangents. But yeah, I personally think that if we give up a few stereotypes and let abilities grow, it won't take generations. Just my opinion, you can think of me as a crackpot loon if you want, Davey, but I tend to agree with the theory that a dawn of more than just a few people having these abilities is going to come sooner or later.

If anyone should be called a crackpot loon, it would only be me for actually putting this time into things. Anyways, please, keep the ideas running.
