So, I never really enjoyed history in school. It was one of those subjects I just slept through and then took a correspondence course to make up during the summer. It was pretty boring. But since I met my co-worker/room-mate, I've actually found myself getting interested in it.

Tonight he gave me a seriously long lesson on a variety of different topics. Mostly wars, and who fought in them, and what countries are/have been serious a**-holes. He actually makes it kinda fun. I've decided that I'm gonna have to learn a bit more about history now. I think I'll start with getting some books about the crusades or something, cause religion has always interested me as well. Especially the bad side of religion, I always wonder how someone could actually take another life in the name of god.

Anyways, Plummer (my co-worker/roommate) will be talkin about somethin like say, the Cuban Missile Crisis. And he'll say something like "yeah, Russia was like, "Hmm, we think we're gonna send some nukes over to Cuba", and we we're like "Ummm... No, we don't think that's such a good idea." So Russia says "Well, we're gonna do it... So do somethin if you want, you know what that'll mean... right." And we say "No, really, you're not sending nukes to Cuba." And Russia says "Well, our ships are on the way." So we say "Well, our battleships are on an intercept course. We really think you should pull those ships back, they're merchant vessels and we're sending battle ships..." Then Russia says, "Yeah, our ships are about half way there." And then our ships get right up on the Russian ships and we're finally like "Yeah, Russia, we're serious, no bull s**t. Turn yer ******** ships around NOW or we're gonna sink them." So Russia finally decides to turn they're ships around. And then the world started looking at them as a bunch of pussies."

So yeah, that's the kinda lecture I wanna hear in a history class. Anways, it's gettin late and I shoulda been in bed a while ago. That history lesson took longer than was expected... actually, it wasn't expected at all, it just came about randomly. And I still have stuff to do before I go to bed, and this entry is amazingly long already, so goodnight everyone =P.
