Hello y'all!! I am back in tan! Hehe. That was lame. But anywho. I just had the experience of my inexperienced life...I went to Cuba! From March 26th to April 2md. This was my first time on a plane, my first time out of the country (although I was in the U.S. for about 30 minutes once but I don't like to count that sweatdrop ), & many...other firsts. But hey, this is going to be a longer entry so I might as well start from the beginning...
We were at the airport at about 3 in the morning but the plane actually left at about 6 or 7 a.m. ( xp ).I was nervous but excited about my first time in the air. It actually wasn't as bad as people told me it was but hey, everyone is different. I did get a little sick halfway through but that's only because some guy needed medical assistance so I think that contributed.
The first thing that came to mind was, "Holy crap it's hot" &, "Now's a good time to start taking pictures. I got a memory card that could hold over 1000 pictures (As you will be seeing some soon) & two disposables so I started clicking away. xd It took awhile to get our bags but we got them eventually.

The first place we went to eat was almost under a bridge. & we arrived just as the sun was setting. It was gorgeous. Then we went on a long bus ride to Havana.
There we went to the Kohly Hotel & it was very nice in there. Our room was right beside the pool so that was an added bonus! The beds were pretty nice & they had a children's tv station in english!! W00t! Mind you there was also Discovery & ESPN but...W00T! Digimon!! rofl Naked digimon...hehehe... mrgreen .
The next day we went to our first performance at a school. There they performed for us as well. What talented little muscians they are! I enjoyed listening to them. I sang horribly that performance. sweatdrop
After that it was lunchtime & we saw the most devilish cat ever! I don't have a picture of it but I wish I did. My friend does though. But anywho, it was skinny (as the rest of the animals were there stare ) & was spotted orange & black. It had a scrunched face & it kinda had asian-like eyes but they were in a permanent frown. I swear if you stared into it's eyes it ate your soul! My friend did & we're still looking for her soul. xd After lunch & the demon cat we went on a little tour of I think, downtown Havana. Something like that. Lot's of history involved. Hehe. They even had a mishap with one of their statues. They had to replace it. Take a good look at this picture & hopefully you'll see. ninja rofl
I love the cars there in Cuba! Either old or small & yellow. XD
& I saw the longest fricken graveyard in my entire life! i'd hate to spend a night in there. stare
Next day we went to a perfroming arts school. Now I know...performing arts school but...they had a fricken auditoruim!! Lucky Cuban kids...our school is getting one in like, 5 years... stare Any who. Another amazing group of kids. We even got to dance with them at the end! That was sooo much fun!!
Next day we got to wtach a professional group perform for us. Then they asked some or our group to go up there & play with them! It was truly an honour. My friend Mel was sooo excited. She got to play the congas. xd I danced the whole time.
That night we went to an outdoor dancle club thingy & danced for about 2 & a half hours. I did a little bit but I wasn't in the mood for dancing. But I got alot of blackmail-like pictures. twisted That was fun. I was also missing my boyfriend a bit that night but that didn't contribute too much. ninja
Next day was beach day!! The day that over half of the group has been waiting for!! I felt soooo comfortable in my bikini. It was my first time in a full one. But I only lost my top once!! Hooray for me!! rofl I got nice & red too, but I don't really burn so it turned into a nice tan. Except my boobs are half tanned & half pale. That looks a little weird.
That night we watched an aquatic ballet. Mel & I heard the crummy piano music everyday before so we were hoping it was good. It wasn't too bad. But about 2-5 mintues after Mel left early one guy tripped & landed on his nut sack! Then he tried to get back into the water but his balls were in the way! Me & my guy friend were behind so we got the full view & frig, it looked painful!! eek He got in eventually...
We left the Kohly hotel which sucked cause we like it there. We stopped down at the castle there & it was fricken amazing to be in. We even went into a prisoner's cell where we actually saw where they dug into the walls trying to escape! It was disturbing yet, fascinating at the same time. We then had an hour into the marketplace, which wasn't enough time I felt. Meh. Here's a shock for all you people who know me. You better be sitting down for this...I bought a dress on my own free will!!! eek I know shocking, eh? Lol. We also stopped by to take a short break at a waterfall. It was my first time under one so I was excited for that.
We then had about a two hour drive to our next hotel. That hotel was horrible. There was blood in a few of the hotel rooms & a creepy elevator guy that sexually harassed me & two other girls. My friend & I even got pictures of him. There was another incident but our girl kicked the guy in the balls. That hotel was horrible. But we got the guy fired & is currently under house arrest so it's all good!!
Next day we went into a valley. Absolutely gorgeous. We then got to go dowon into it where we went into a cave. Another first of mine. Then at the end, I got a monkey to sit on my lap!! It was pretty sweet!
That day we also had our final performance which was in a public place. We were all sooo tired that nobody really had any energy to do anything. I didn't even dance when the asked us to come up. I just shook ym head & said, "Not today...not today." xp We then packed up out things at the hotel & waited for our long bus ride back to Varadero the next day...
We were excited to leave that dreaded hotel but not excited to be leaving for the long ride to Varadero. I, personally couldn't wait to get back home. I had fun but it was time for home. Some people were sad that we were leaving; & in a way so was I. & I was NOT looking forward to sitting on my a** all day.
The plane trip home was annoying. I got a short temper & got next to no sleep on the trip there. I felt bad as well cause I never got the vhance to say goodbye to our ownderful tour guides, Romero & Alex!
You guys are da shizzle & don't ever change! You are both amazing people!! heart
Well that's pretty much it in a glance. *looks ta it* This took my three fricken hours to write!! & I didn't even go into detail about everything!! Wow...well, I hope you all enjoy this casue I enjoyed bringing back memories. Till next time..
