I know it's a bit late (since it happened on Monday and all), but I would like to say a few things about the shooting.

I'm very sorry for all the victims and their families. If any of you guys are here on gaia, I give you my sympathy. I live here in VA and I'm just as surprised as you are that it happened. My brother was supposed to go to VA tech last fall, but he changed his mind at the last minute and went to a dif. school. If he had gone, he would have been there when the shooting happened. I am so happy and thankful that he wasn't, and I cried and hugged him when I got home from school that day.

I truly believe that the guy who did it was mentally ill and unstable, but that still does not give him the right to do what he did. I hope he and the souls of the deaths he caused will find peace in wherever we go after death and that the families of the victims can get on with their lifes, remembering their dead loved one but still being happy.
