lost friends


think as you may
do as you please
but you see only what you wish
and block out the rest
you do not see i have forgiven and forgave
and still it just seems to you
like a silly little game
so say loud
and say it proud
that you can not see
what you dont belive
for you say i am doing everthing to hurt you
and everything mean
but just remember
that same old thing
that you did not learn
and you still lied
instead of telling the truth
and still again
you defend your position
saying i am doing it all wrong
so you tell me to listen
i sit and i think
about what you say
but if you were in my shoes
wouldnt you do it the same way?
the fact i have moved on
doesnt change the fact
that really this fight
is a stale old game of tic-tac-toe
where we can both blame eachother
to and fro
and really theirs no winner
not one at all
and this stupid fight
will go on and on
till the end of time itself.
so ill save you some time and a little more pain
by just saying whatever
im done
youve got what you want
now leave me alone
cause our friendship shot
im not putting blame
im not say either is wrong
but this is a waste of my time
and its gone on to long.
just understand when i walk right on by
and dont say hello
its only because
i cant stand to look back
at something as stupid as this.
because really,
i thought we were friends
but i guess though the ages
time and again
people have lost
what they truely belived also
to be a friend..
and mabye some time in a different life we can meet again
then mabye, just mabye
we will both have learned by then.
