Here It Comes
Part 12
Matt was lounging in the black leather recliner up in his room listening to his mp3 and trying to do his geography homework, when there was a knock on his door. He didn't hear it though, he kept on druming the air. Suddenly a voice filled the air in the room.
"MMAATT!" His older brother screamed.
"What?! I'm trying to work!" Matt got up and opened the. Normally, Nick would have given him a noogie or something, but he didn't. Surprised Matt looked up. Nick's eyes didn't seem as hard as they normally did. Nick placed a hand on his sholder breifly before saying,
"Mom wants you dude." Matt smiled unsurely and walked down the hall and down the stairs. His mother was siting in that same chair, in the same pose she was five years ago. Worried, Matt slowed his pace.
"I think you should take a seat honey." She said this in such a quiet voice, it scared him. She sighed and leaned over and handed him an envelope. It was adressed to Lindsey's father. He looked at her puzzeled, she brought a hand to her face. Trembling he re-opened the seal on the envelope. He pulled out a long peice of paper, but before he could read it his mother cried out,
"Lindsey been kidnapped!" Matt's eyes opened widely in terror. He stood up dropping the peice of paper on the floor.
"No..." Hes shook his head,"NO!" He picked up the book on the cofee table and threw at the wall.
"Not Lindsey!" He kicked over the cofee table, spilling a drink or two on the floor. He ran furiously up the stairs and into his room. He slammed the door and pushed his dresser infront of the door. He threw him self under the blankets on his bed. He pulled them around him and covered his ears. He began to sob loudly and shiver.
"Please God... Don't take her... not yet... I love her so." Slowly he calmed down.
"Please God. Anyone. Anyone in the world but her..."
