2 years or so into my life in America, I got the Nintendo Gameboy SP. To me, this thing was like all you needed in a box. The best thing about it was that I got the best game ever with it, Pokemon Sapphire. It's not the best game, but it was the most epic at the time. It was surely one of my favorite Gameboy games. I remember also owning a Gameboy Color, but only for a few months before I lost it. I also had a Nintendo 64 like I said in a previous journal post. I remember how often I would break my handhelds out of frustration. I was playing Sonic one day on my SP, when a level got me so frustrated, I snapped the handheld in half. I also remember smacking my DS Original onto my head whenever I was furious. I broke the top screen. Fail. I never broke my 64, but only because it also had one of the more awesome games ever. Super Smash Bros. The original. I soon upgraded to the Wii. Not really soon, but 3-4 years later. 2008, I think. Or 2007, maybe. I forgot. Anway, I also ended up not playing my DS for a few years. Because of the broken screen. I never wanted to get any PSP or Xbox crap because I wanted to stay true to Nintendo fro bringing me all these weird and new electronics to my life. Now I have over 15 Wii games. A DSi XL and 8 games, I think. The entire price for all these were probably over $1000 at least. I got 2 Gameboy SPs, 1 Gameboy Color, at least 15 Gameboy games, 1 Nintendo Wii (No $200 price, try $250), 15 Wii games, 1 DS Original, 1 DS Lite, 1 DS Lite again, and 1 DSi XL. I now notice how much I should try to be more careful with my stuff.
