Eire's blog-like-thing
Tales of some such, nonsense, stuff and a bit of normality ... wait ... I dreamed that. (commentz says the sheep!! You've got to do what the sheep says.)
Life After Exams (shockhorror)
The very thing you strive for ...

Oh, and a name change. That'll be nice, won't it?

It's really quite a pity that we can't change our names as often as we liked, like Bebo.
My name is currently Dood you need counselling. Because I do. And because everyone does really. Don't deny it.

Anywhoo, as I happen to do more often than not, I have dragged you off the burning topic of my Journal Entry. I do apologise.
I've been reading Stephen Fry like a woman possessed so you will forgive me if I start sounding like a 50 year old upper class Englishman from time to time. I just googl'd him. He's got his own Website. 'Tis here, if you're interested. Which of course, not everyone, unlike me, is.

So. As we return to reality and the rocky road of life after THE EXAMS, I promise I will actually start dealing with the subject as soon as possible.

Song of choice for this particular session: Maybe - Janis Joplin. Maybe not the best choice, but it's on my shuffle.

I have now completed my 2nd level education. And very grateful for this I am too. I'm 17 and have school a whole 2/3 over with. It's just a pity that I'll probably have another 9 years for my PhD as well. Maybe 56.52173912% would have been more accurate. That is if I go to MIC and not UCC. God only knows how long I'll be in my own education then. I'm saying my own education because I intend to be in education until I'm the ripe old age of 65. I hope to retire that summer with my husband (here's hoping) and buy a nice villa somewhere up in the hills of Northern Italy. During the winter we can head south and during the winter we can entertain guests on the veranda. Surely they have verandas in Italy.

Either that, or I'm going to Aussieland with DeeDee. It's where she came from, so I'll hope to tag along. She won't mind. ^^;

So, first it's off to, guess ... Italy. How wrong were you?
With Dad. In the heat of Italy. With his obstinacies about wearing sun cream. It's going to be fun.
At least myself and the sister won't have to share a room with his complaining. This is officially the first family holiday I'll have ever been on. Usually we leave Dad at home and one of Mom's friends come with us. It'll be weird shopping with him hanging around.

Then Oxegen. I'll write more about that after we go. That's the 10-14/7/08. It's going to be absolutely brilliant. I just hope to Almighty God that it won't rain. If it rains then all of my plans (in the ideal world in my head, you understand) will be ruined. I'm getting quite worried about this tent business. You see, we got it from Lidl (a German company/Walmart type thing. Ooh, linkage and here too.) and they're not renowned for quality over quantity. More quantity over quantity ...
And frankly I don't think it'll keep the Irish eilimintí out.

Anywhoo ... I feel like I'm watching Groundhog Day all over again. Deja vu of a deja vu? Where are the accents in deja vu anyway?

Right ... I'm going to go off and listen a bit more to the Delorentos and I shall bid you adieu and farewell. Until the next blog-like-thing.

Slán go fóill/Bis Bald/(I don't know what it is in French, if someone would like to inform me, that'd be lovely)/'Til we meet again, etc.
