"He is the Dove, I am the Raven"

He is as sweet as sugar
with eyes like rain
and with such a rosie complextion
his face is of a page boy's
but he is tall
and such a quiet soul

Oh how I adore him!
I steel a glance every now and then
and every time I do
my heart races like a hummingbirds wing
his soft,pink lips
oh how I wish they were with mine
but he would not love me

I am a Raven
nothing more than a scavenger
how could a dove
as beautiful as he
ever love such a foul creature
I am the raven that shouts "never more"
and never more I shall be
