Blahblah blah
Winchester Fan Fic Chapter 3
Chapter Three

The water began to run cold so I quickly rinsed off before turning the water off. I looked around for a towel and sighed...none. Slowly I peeked out the door seeing a towl resting on the bed. I exitted carefully from the bathroom to face the boys focused in on Sam's computer. I smiled in success wrapping the towel around me before Sam turned around seeing me. My hair dripping and the towel clinging to my body. I assumed Sam must have seen girls naked before yet his face made me think otherwise. Dean turned around to a rather dirty smile and look in his eyes. "Well, if you want to wear that out you might wanna be careful while hunting." He said coyly. I laughed sarcastically before heading to the bathroom. Afterwards I came out in a rather large old Led Zepplin t-shirt that my dad gave me and a pair of torn jeans. Dean gave me one careful examination that he assumed I couldn't see. I smiled some before sitting across the table from Sam and his laptop. "Research?" I asked since I snuck a peek at the screen. Sam nodded not bothering at looking up. I frowned some before standing again and going to check my phone. The act was pointless since everyone thought I was dead and the phone was turned off. But it gave me something to do other than be ignored.
"Alright so Dad's journal said he did a ghoul hunt in a town over a few years back...scared the thing off. Maybe it came back to its hometown?" Sam suggested. Dean nodded sipping a beer. "So big bad beasty comes back already got a hunger for living flesh and decideds to go hunting?" Dean added. Sam grunted in agreement. I bit my lip wondering what it might have been hunting now. Sam must have looked up cause the next thing he said was "Des...you okay?" I nodded afraid talking would show my fear.
The monster nearly bit into me...now some other girl was in danger. I sighed and gained my nerves. "We should go after it...around dusk when its not to dark." I suggested. "Well we know where it is living, under the cemetry feasting on the dead...so we should be able to catch it there." Sam said as if he was just repeating the already obvious plan. "I feel like a regular Scooby Doo...well come on Shaggy, Velma lets go catch ourselves a ghoul." Dean said sticking his colt in his pants. I laughed and followed him out the door along with Sam.
At the cemetry we entered every last one of the crypts assuming that these would have some way for the ghoul to surface. Dean lead every exploration, he was like the unspoken leader. Sam was his right hand always watching his back and mine. He was loyal, more devoted to his brother than I had ever seen. It was dusk when we found the entrance into the underground tunnels. I gulped as I smelt the rotting decay of the dead sweep past me we they openned the hole. Dean coughed some choking back what sounded like vomit. "Ugh...nothing smells better." He said sarcastically covering his nose with the sleeve of his jacket, his other handing holding out his Colt. I held mine up pointed at the hole. "Who goes in first?" I asked eyeing the hole. It looked big enough for all of them and seemed to widen up so the thing could stand. "I'll go first..." offered Sam, which shocked me.
To be honest I thought he was trying to be brave for me. Dean nodded and said he would take the rear. I chuckled at the rather odd dirty joke that popped into my head at the moment. I was left behind to protect the hole.
They slid in looked around before slowly marching off to fight the big bad monster. I leaned against a coffin, my gun in hand looking at the hole. After a few minutes I stopped being able to hear their soft murmurs. "Dean? Sam?" I called peeking down into the hole. Suddenly the face of my dear friend Samantha was in my face. "AHH! Sammy?" I screamed looking at her confused. She looked scared almost terrified. "You have to come in here Des!...My foot is caught!" She cried paniced. She looked dirty, her face darkened by dirt and dust. I tried pulling her but she did seem caught. I slid down into the hole, storing my gun in my back pocket. I looked down to help her get her foot out before I saw it was fine. "Samantha?" I muttered looking up. "Sorry sweetness...Sammy's no longer here." Sammy said before bashing me upside the head.
I woke up in another crypt, my hands tied above my head and my feet dangling a few inches off the ground. The room was dimly lit by the moon and a torch. I glanced around spotting Sam and Dean hanging just like I was. "SAM DEAN!" I screamed, kicking my feet trying to get free. Dean's head rolled to the side, a line of blood dripping from his temple. I gasped and kicked harder, the side of my head dampened. "Stop squirming Dessy...wouldn't want to bruise you." Samantha said, though it wasn't her. "You're... you are the ghoul." I stated, glaring at the face of a former friend. "Smart girl...I would be a different face...yours if those two hadn't saved you."She said motioning to the boys. "Instead I got this one." The Ghoul(Samantha) added. I gasped again tears starting to form. "Y-you ate Samantha?!" I asked almost crying. The ghoul nodded before turning to Sam and Dean. "Leave them alone!" I demanded kicking against the wall. The ghoul smiled before crawling into the hole. "Be right back.." It sung. Dean began to wake, his eyes fluttering open and closed as if he was having trouble. My body tensed up hoping he was ok. "Dean?!" I called. "Wh-what the hell...Des?" He muttered groaning at the splitting headache. I looked at Sam who was still knocked out. "What happened to you two!? Some great hunters you are..." I asked suddenly becoming angry at the fact that they were caught. Not that me getting caught wasn't just as bad. "What do you mean?! A damn girl came up behind me and bashed me in the head!" Dean cursed looking at me. "What about you!? Weren't you suppose to be watching!?" He asked. I bit my lip. "It's Samantha...the ghoul looks like my friend Samantha. I thought she got caught and escaped cause of you two." I explained looking down. I heard Dean sigh before cursing to himself. "Well...things could be worse." He said before bumping Sam with his leg. Sam woke up some, his head still down but noise escaped his lips. "Sammy wake up!" Dean demanded kicking him again. "Nu uh uh!" The Ghoul said crawling out of the hole, a sharpe glass shard in her hand. "I can't wait to eat you...all the memories of the Winchester boys...Mhmmm. And as for you my little escaped meal. You have spirit...It'll be delicious." It mused walking towards me. The ghoul slashed my face some, a line of blood dripping down my cheek as I starred into Samantha's eyes. The ghoul leaned close and licked the blood making me flinch back. I kicked forward straight into its gut sending it back onto its butt. "Oh bad idea." She growled standing up when suddenly Dean jumped on it. "Where's your gun!?" I asked, though he was a tad to busy fighting to answer. Sam came up and cut me loose with a pocket knife they must have concealed.
I fell for a second, Sam's hands catching my waist and setting me on my feet. I looked at him, for a split second we shared a smile before Sam turned to Dean and the Ghoul. Sam raced to Dean's side, knife in hand, he stabbed the Ghoul in the side. She bucked and Dean fell off, sliding against the marble floor. I began searching for the gun, the sound of their grunts as they fought quickened my search. I found it lying out on a coffin. The glisten of the barrel caught my eye. I grabbed it, checking to see the bullets.

"Hey" I shouted, disappointed at my lame remark in a moment for witty charm. Sam stopped and looked at him, backing away from the Ghoul. "Ghouly!" I shouted again, this time getting her attention. She turned away from Dean, her eyes full of blood lust. A tinmgle went down my spine as I cocked the gun and aimed for her. I could see Dean scurry from under her, standing up. "What are you going to do, little Dessy? Kill your best friend?" She called, her voice, Sam's voice, teasing me. I felt my hands numb and my arms shake. "Don't...Don't try to act like her." I cried, feeling the rush of fear that I had forgotten. Sam came up next to me, his hand resting on mine. I looked at him, his eyes hard yet understanding, as he slipped the guns from my hand. In the end I couldn't kill it.
The next few moments happened fast, somehow Dean had gotten that large shard of glass the Ghoul and brought. Sam fired two shots into the Ghoul's head (Head trauma or decapitation is the only way to kill them) and then Dean swung the glass, taking off Samantha's head. Sam lowered the gun and turned to me, seeing the tears he grabbed me and pulled me into a hug. His chin resting on my head, I cried into his chest.
When it was all over, and we were back in the hotel all their stuff packed, mine too. I felt relieved, almost free, yet the felt like I was just starting to become caged. "Des, you don't have to do this...You can still have a normal life." Sam said, his voice full of concern and pleading. I shook my head, I wanted to be a hunter. To not have all that fear. I sighed and patted his arm. "No Sam. I can't. I know what goes bump in the night now. I know there is more than just that thing out there and I don't want to let them hurt people. I don't want to be afraid of anything. And I sure as hell don't want others too end up like Samantha." I explained, looking from him to Dean. Dean stood there with a stern emotionaless face. He raised his beer in the air and chuckled. "Well then, welcome to the team Dessy." He said before taking a sip. I grinned, standing up I pulled them both to me, giving them a cheesy group hug. Sam and Dean chuckled before pulling away.
So we loaded up the Impala, said our goodbyes to my home town and were off.
