My Stories
These are stories I've written with my best friend and wrote by myself.
The Dairy Of A Werewolf
Chapter 1

The Moon. How beautiful it is. People go out at night, spending long hours staring at it. Other people believe it has special powers and it’s probably true. That’s probably why so many religions believe in and worship it. Many religions such as Wicca, Druidism, Celtic Reconstruction and Witchcraft just to name a few. How do I know this stuff? I research it. I have so many books about Witchcraft, Werewolves, Vampires, The difference between goodness and light. You could say that I’m a fan of the dark side. Actually all of this stuff is a hobby for me. An expensive one on my part, especially when all you do is go to school and not work like most of my friends. They’re always busy and don’t want to hang out with me. Same with my family, they’re too busy to do anything with me. Maybe that’s why I’m always reading books on Witchcraft, Vampires and Werewolves. Maybe that’s why I sometimes wish that my hobby were real. What I mean is that if I was able to turn myself into a werewolf. Oh that would be so cool.
I put my pen down once I heard the ear-piercing ring of my phone. The song “The older I get” rang through my ears. It’s my darling best friend. I walked over to the phone to look at the caller-id. Yup I’m right it’s May. My best friend since high school and even during our collage years, we’ve going to University, The University of Gulph. My courses are all based on animals and hers in all human based. To be honest I never answer phones in my parent’s house, since most of the time it’s a telemarketer, but this time it was May, so I kind of have to answer it. I picked up the phone and all I heard was the most annoy sound you could hear from a twenty-five year old. Once again May’s stone headed boyfriend broken up with her and I had to listen to May’s streaming wail about how much she missed him and asking what she did wrong to make him leave. It always happened every month on a night of a full moon. The night we usually work on our magic. Oh did I forget to say that May and I are Witches. Good ones. Back to my probably with May, her and her boyfriend had been going out since they we all started high school and he even goes to Gulph. I had been keeping track of them breaking up since the first time it happened. I even had a book were I recorded the date, time, place and why.
I sat on my bed listening to May for about ten minutes waiting for a point to be able to say something, anything to make May feel better. After the ten minutes had past I had enough of sitting and stood up and walked over to my bookshelf. Which is full of books on Werewolves, Vampires, and Spell Books.
“Do you feel better now after crying in my ear?” I asked while I sit down at my desk. “So time, where and why?”
There was a long pause between my question and May’s answer. I knew right away what the answer would be. Tristan, May’s stoned headed boy friend, took May to the forest behind his huge, white, —that should be fire wood— house. I knew that there’s where he took her. Looking through my book I noticed that Tristan never gave answer, but always told May on the new moon she’d be his again.
“I’m guessing you’re writing this in your little book again, Ace?” May said as she blew her nose into a Kleenex.
“When don’t I? Anyways, did he take you to the tree house?” I asked with no heart what so ever.
“Yes” May sighed.
“Time”
“10:15pm”
“Lastly, why did he leave you?”
Once again there was a long pause. During the pause there was a long howl from a bloodthirsty wolf. It sent a shiver down my back since I knew May was still in the forest because she always wonders the forest after Tristan dumps her.
“Are you in the woods still?” I asked nervously.
“Yeah. I’m walking to your house. Actually — ” There was a loud crash as May was talking.
I walked over to her window to see something German Shepard size running into the forest. It wasn’t one of my dogs. Then I thought about the horses since all I could hear crashing and banging from the barn, I knew they were all locked up in their stalls. At least that’s what I thought. I then ran to my closet and grabbed my cloak. Running down stairs with the phone in my hand almost running into my mother.
“Where the ******** do you think you’re going at this time at night young lady?” my mom asked. She was always like this to me. Never caring if she’s nice or not. It’s my mom. I’m guessing she’s worried about my dad who’s always out truck driving down in the states. So there must have been an accident in the states with his company’s truck.
I looked at her mother for a few seconds, and then ran right past her. “Go ******** yourself mom.” With that I ran out the front door to the horse barn. Looking around all I could see was darkness. Then realizing that May was still on the phone line. I put the phone back up to my ear.
“May?”
“‘Bout time that you answered me.” May answer angrily.
“Well sorry. I was a little worried about my horses.” While saying that, I was looking at all of the horses and making sure that they were still okay.
“Are you horses more important than me?”
“No. I just heard a loud bang just out my window and when I looked out my window I saw this thing that was German Shepard size running to the forest. Anyways, where are you?” Realizing that I hadn’t turned on the barn lights, I walked over to the light switch and lights. I then felt a hand slowly touch my shoulder.
“I’m right here.” As May said that I almost jumped out of my skin. Turning around, I looked at May with the fury to kill.
“********. You almost gave me a heart attack. At least you look happier.”
“Yeah I am. I’ve had time to think.”
“Ah.” I sighed while I said that since I could hear the rain falling down on the tin coloured roof. I walked over to the opening of the barn and watched the lighting danced across the night filled sky. Listened to the thunder ring through my ears. I body shivered with the ecstasy of the power of the storm. Turning around, looking at May with my golden eyes May knew right away that we’d be staying up all night reading through books about Werewolves, Vampires and Witchcraft.
“I’m guessing the horses are okay?” May asked as she walked over to I.
“Yeah they’re okay. Do you want to sleep over tonight or do you have to work again?” I asked stubbornly and not even looking at May. All I can hear was the rain falling on the roof. Which I believe is the most beautiful sound ever.
“Nope I’m not working tonight. Actually I quit my job since it was a crappy job anyways. I’m guessing I’m coming over tonight?”
“Yes you are. If you want to.”
“******** yeah.” With that May ran out of the barn to my parent’s house. While spinning around in circles with her tongue out, I followed behind her watching the lighting flashing in different directions. “Tonight will be the best night for spells. We could do our favourite.” I stated.
“Yeah we could or we could call the dead.” May said as she spun around and around.
“We could or read up on Werewolves again.”
“Oh My God Yes! Let’s do that!” May yelled loud enough for my ten-year-old brother to turn his bedroom light on.
“Great May. You’ve woken up my little brother.” I sighed as I walked into the kitchen there stood my mom staring at the both of us. She looked at May and then to my, then walked over to the stove. I looked at May and shrugged my shoulders then headed up stairs. May followed after my to my room. I stood in my doorway to my room looking in. I looked over to May as she walked over to my. I snorted at May.
“Lookie who’s here.” I snapped as I walked into my room and sat on my bed. May followed my into my room there she saw Tristan smoking in my beanbag chair. I looked at May about to say something, but caught myself. May slowly started to back out of the room when Tristan looked up at her and smiled at her.
“Hey honey. I knew you’d be here on a stormy night with a full moon. Come with me, I need to talk to you.” As he spoke he stood up and walks over to May. I moved myself in front of Tristan and gave him a total death stare look.
“Why don’t you put that little cigarette out and go back where you came from. May doesn’t deserve someone who always breaks up with her every new moon!” I grabbed May’s hand and pulled May to my bed. May’s a beautiful brunette with big piercing green eyes. Me on the other I have golden eyes and strong orange red hair. The type of hair you’d see on Japanese cartoons so the main character would stand out. Making them bad kids in school. I’m the total opposite. I’m a good kid in school but that’s beside the point.
“Just get out of my house now!” I sat down beside May as she fell down on my bed.
Tristan looked at the both of us. Hurt in his eyes. It was like I ripped out his heart and threw it right out the window just after I stomped all over it. Yeah it was a mean thing to say, but he deserved to say it. Tristan walked over to the window and threw out the cigarette. He then turned back around to face us. “I break up with her for my own reason. I don’t want to see her hurt.”
I gave him a “what the ******** are you talking about” face. I then stood up, but was stopped by May grabbing my hand. May stood up and walked over to Tristan and hugged him. Tristan looked down at her and smiled. He held her back.
“I don’t mean to hurt you May. It’s just I love you so much that I don’t want anything to happen to you.” Tristan looked down at May and lifted her chin. He kissed her so deeply even I could feel it, but then I looked away. It was a little to much to see May gave back together with that slim ball. Okay he’s not that bad, but he doesn’t have to break up with her all of the time. That’s why I don’t like him.
Then there was a smash. Tristan, May and I looked at the window. There stood a young man. Dark brown hair, brown eyes, muscular body, he hovered over Tristan, staring down at him from the window frame. I then stood up with rage. I walked right over to the young and looked up at him.
“Who the ******** do you think you are jumping three stores into my room and breaking my window. Probably waking up my little brother right after he just went back to sleep.” I looked at him with my golden eyes. My orange red hair glowed in the moonlight. “I have the right to just push you out the window.” Finally realizing what I’ve been saying. I looked at him funny. “Did you just jump here?”
The man looked at Ace and laughed. “Yeah I did.” He looked at Tristan and tilted his head hinting to him that they had to leave. Tristan shook his head and held May tighter. Rage went through the young man’s eyes. He knew the answer why Tristan had to always leave May on a full moon.
Then the clouds moved and the silver light of the full moon shined through my bedroom window. Since I live in the attic my bedroom window is so much bigger than normal windows. I then noticed something going on with Tristan’s hands. I looked at him hard trying to figure out what wasn’t right. Then I noticed it. His hands were now paws. I looked over to the other guy and there sat the Shepard that ran into the forest earlier, but it wasn’t a Shepard but a wolf. I looked at May who was now looking at Tristan whom was now a wolf too. All I could think about what my stories. Stories that I’ve read in my books. Stories of young women being killed for fun, kidnapped and only used for sex, I mean mating.
I then grabbed May’s arm and tried to pull her away from the wolf, I mean Tristan. The other wolf lunged at me and pinned me to the ground. Growling he looked straight into my eyes. Fear surrounded me. I could breath. I had a 200-pound wolf on my chest. He rolled he upper lip showing me his fangs. I knew this type of because of my classes at school. I tried to not show me any fear, but it wasn’t really working. He nipped at my nose, but didn’t bit me.
Tristan didn’t move he stayed right beside May whom hasn’t moved an inch. Tristan then moved towards the wolf on my chest. He turned at Tristan and growled at him. I knew that growl. It was a growl saying that I belonged to him. Either I was his mate or his dinner. Great I’m now going to become dinner. Tristan growled back. I can’t believe that Tristan is protecting me, well trying to at least. The wolf looked away and started to go for my neck, but he stopped. He lifted his and ears. There was a howl of another wolf. Tristan looked up and May with loving eyes and then left my room. The other wolf looked at me, growled and then left.
I lye on the floor for at least a good twenty minutes, I can’t compared what had just happened. The things I wish were real are real. I sat up and looked over at May. She was a mess. Well I can blame her. She had just found a hug secret about her lover.
“Well now we know why he keeps dumping you on nights of full moons.” Once again I went to far. I’m a smart a** by nature, so trying to make my best friend feel better. At least she smiled. She knew I was trying to make her feel better. She knew that right when she moved in next door. That was probably right after my family had just finished building the farm larger. It was on both lands so there was more land on both properties to do other things with it.
“I think we should go to bed.” May said as she lied down on my bed.
“Yeah I agree.” I said that as I locked my window. Like that was going to do anything. If they wanted to kill us they’d smash through the window. So much for our spell casting filled night, I hopped into bed with May. May was already asleep. Not to many things bother her. Pretty much the only thing that bothers is when Tristan dumps her. I’m thinking that problem is over now.
I lied my head down on my pillow. Closed my eyes. All I could see was the wolf standing over top of my slowly bringing his fangs down to my neck. It felt like I was having a bad dream, but it wasn’t a dream. It was real and it just going to get worst.
