Darkness by Gunner Hatfield (its a poem)

When the daylight fades.
the darkness will come to stay.
when the sun goes down.
the shadows come around.
nothing to be seen.
but the darkness and blackest of all seas.
the world lay in wake as the time slips away.
until the darkness is once again banashed to the shadows.
the light grows dimmer every day until finally
the shadows come to stay for an eternity.
but we must always hope that the sun will rise again
to cast of this darkening sea that drowns us in missery.
so be still thine children of god.
for the darkness feeds off fear, if there is no fear.
the darkness will fade leaving wake for the light.
to brighten thine day and let us wake to learn
the hope we had changed the role of destiny.
and so we live with that hope knowing the day light will
always come to banash the darkness away.
