It's been almost an entire year since my last journal entry, and things have changed... drastically. I guess I'll start off with saying that the love of my life is still the love of my life... bu tno longer so intimately tied to my life. I made alot of bad decisions in the months following my last entry, and I truly have not been the same since the effects of those actions impacted me. I haven't written anything new other than a few short quips hither and thither. Nothing noteworthy, of course.

I have, however, been doing alot of reading, branching into authors my fellow literarians have recommended. None have matched to R.A. Salvatore yet, but I'm sure I'll find an author who matches, if not surpasses, the fantasy author. Not that I'm trying to replace him. Believe me, never that. Merely... there are none of his books in this town's shops or libraries, and so I've had to make do with what I can. Reading is a passion of mine. One that is not shared by many, and understood by far fewer.

For those of you who don't know, I'm a senior, and I'l be graduating very shortly. And in all truths, it doesn't really matter to me. I understand that in order to succeed in the world, one has to graduate high school and go to college. But I really just don't care, nor think that system is specifically legit. If you really want to know, read a bit of one of my favorite books Catcher In The Rye by J. D. Salinger. A bit cynical, a good deal pessimistic, but very deep in his views of things. By "his" I mean the main character's, who may as well be me right now.

I've no idea how to close this, so I'll just do it as such: Things have changed, and though not for the worst, only the slimmest shreds of sunlight shine through.
