<center>Story Of The Two Cubs
Chapter One
The Beganing
One star filled night the two cubs Vatrina and Lunarflower were playing in their home town. As their parents called them home for supper, Vatrina saw a thick screen of smoke over the wall heading stright for their peceful town. Both Vatrina and Lunarflower ran as fast as their little legs would carry them home, they ran into the house and slamed the door with fear in their eyes. Their parents asked them what was wrong and they both started to talk at once making it hard for their parents to understand what scared the two of them. Their father softly says "one at a time my cubs", Vatrina starts by saying that she saw a big cloud of smoke heading stirght for the town, Lunaflower added that she heard some strange noises come from outside the wall and did not know what it was.
Their parents look at eachother then back to the two cubs, their mother growled softly and took bow in hand as their fater knew what she was about to do. He steped in front of the door and held his arms open blocking the exit to the house and shook his head, he said in a strong yet kind hearted voice " We have to protect the girls and get them to safety and if you disagree then I will take Lunarflower and Vatrina and flee with them". Their fathers eyes glowing softly from how the light of the fireplace was dancing, he just stared at the cubs mother waiting for a responce. She said nothing and just stood there silent knowing that her duty of being a ranger of the city was to protect it at all coasts, she lowered her gaze as to say she would not abboned her home land. He growled and grabed both Vatrina and Lunarflower in his arms and went to the back door kicking it open and started running,
Vatrina squrimed wanting to stay beside her mothers side not understanding why their father was running from an on coming battle that could not be stoped, in a small voice Vatrina asked "Daddy why are you leaving mommy behind", Lunarflower added " Daddy you can't just leave mommy behind". Vatrina squrims free and in an instant ran back to her mommy taking a short bow into her left hand and a quiver of arrows in her right throwing it over her head and feeling it land against her back she grabed a arrow from the fuiver and sttod fast ready for battle. Their father continued running with Lunarflower in his arms for when Vatrina got free and their father turned around Lunarflower hit her head on a tree and was knocked out from the inpact, He held her in his arms against his chest and just ran leaving the rest of his family behind being unsure where to run too.
When Lunarflower came too she found that she was no longer within the walls of her home town but instead she was in the walls of a different town for her father had ran through the whole night trying to get her to safety and hoping and praying Vatrina and Sekiena were alright. Not knowing where she was she started to slowly look around for Kerchak her father, slowly making her way through the place she woke up in and calling "DADDY"! at the top of her lungs. Trying her hardest to find her father and not start crying because she missed her mother and sister, she looked from room to room untll she got to the last room and finally found her father sitting at a little table. Lunarfolwer walked to her father and climbed into his lap being afraid and being very worried about her mother and big sister. Looking up at Kerchak she gives a half smile being happy that she still had her father with her.
Lunarflower finally spoke, she asks her father. Why did you leave Mommy and Vatrina behind daddy. I do not understand how you could abonden them. Her little eyes swelled up with tears as she sat and waited for an answer. Her father said nothing for he had no true answer to Lunarflower's question for he found himself asking the same question in his mind "Oh my god how could you just leave the rest of your family and your home land behind how could you do such Kerchak..." He just sat there stairing out the window and help Lunarflower close to him making sure she was safe in his arms and not letting her go. He held her tightly as one of the other ninjas that let him within the walls walked in and looked over at Kerchak and Lunarflower. The ninja just looked at them for a few moments of just looking at the two of them. The ninja spoke after stairing at them a little longer.
In a soft voice so not to scare Lunarflower the ninja said his name was Hewin the leader of the ninja clan in Sandy. Lunarflower looked at Hewin with surprize in her eyes and her mouth fell open now knowing where she was and wondering how long she had been unconsuois and how her father got there in one night. Lunarflower hissed at her fater as she spoke in a rather loud voice. "WHAT AND HOW DID WE GET THIS FAR AWAY FROM HOME IN ONE NIGHT FATHER HOW COULD YOU JUST LEAVE MOTHER AND VATRINA ALONE IN THE BATTLE AND JUST FLEE WITH ME AND GRRRRRRR!" Lunarflower ran past Hewin and opened the door slaming it as she left not understanding how her father could just take her from what she knew and from her mother and sister.
Lunarflower decided to take her anger out on the dummies that were hanging in the cortyard of the nina clans base. She drew her Katanas and was off in an instant with persise accuracy she took the dummies bodies from their heads she drew her bow and sent an arrow through the last dummy head and watched it fall to the ground. She landed in the middle of the broken dummies and grined to herself as the rest of the practicing ninjas had stoped and just watched her in awe their mouths hanging wide open as she stood and walked off still angery at what had happened and not being able to help. Lunarflower wished with all her heart she was able to help. She sighed softly and just walked to a nearby spring and sats down and sharpeden her katanas.
She stood up and sheathed her katanas then slowly started to walk out of Nothern Sandy and into Southern Sandy she stoped in front of the Action House and lowered her gaze sighing softly as she lifted her head once again she turned to her right and started walking to the front gates of Sandy. She walked upto the guard and smiled up at him as she pulled on his fingers trying to get his attion. The guard looked down at Lunarflower and gave a soft smile and in a soft voice asked "how may I help you little one are you lost?" Lunarflower shoke her little head and said. Is it alright if I go outside the city and play now? The guard gave a soft nod and said "sure you can just be careful." She smild again and let go of the guards fingers and toddled out the gates.
She befreinded a forest hare and played with it keeping to herself not sure if she should trust anyone in Sandy. Her forest hare friend followed her everywhere the guards made an excetion and let it enter the gates because it was with her at all time. She continued her trying as she grew wiser and stronger the bound between the hare and her grew as well. The little forest hare staied by Lunarflowers side no matter what it fought along side her and they always played together. Only she was able to come near the hare that she named Vittie the forest hare and none of the kids really liked her cause she was stronger then them so they shuned her because of it.
Vittie and her went for a walk in the forest one day and stoped at the stream where an orc was foolish enough to attack them. Lunarflower jumper up and Vittie engaded in battle they fought the orc foddler till it fell to the ground and took its last breath Orcish blood running down her body and Vittie now sitting on her shoulder as she wadded into the water to let the flowing lake wash the blood off her. She sat down and sighed once again as she though about the many times her and Vatrina would spalsh eachother when it rained.
She took vittie off her shoulder and started to wash the blood from his fur she looked up for a moment taking Vittie from the water when she did so. She said in a soft voice.... If your still alive sister and somewhere out there we shall meet again I swear this I will find you... She fell silent once more and Vittie could tell that Lunarflower was heart broken and he nuzzled against her trying to make her happy again. She hugged Vittie close and just sat in the stream unmoving seeming to just be lost in thought. tears filled her eyes as she thought back to the night her family was toren apart. She lowered her head and just wepted silently as she held Vittie close.
Lunarflower slowly looked around as she cought the sent of something should not be around Sandy. She norrowed her eyes as she stood to her feet Vittie jumped from Lunarflowers arms and landed on the ground ready to fight along side his one and only friend. She drew her katanas her fangs beared as she searched for the thing the sent was coming from, her ears twitching trying to pick up and sort of sound the thing made. She growled and in an instant she takes flight running as fast as she can, her katanas slicing into the things chest, stomach, legs, arms, and face. She lands on the ground and turnto see the massive Orc fall to the ground. She grined and spat on the orc as it took its last breath she looked at Vittie and walked to him picking him up once again.
