We spend all our time
Asking these questions
But no one’s got the answers
You’ve been looking for
But if someone did
Would anyone listen?
Or would we all just laugh in their face?
The crazy answerer feels misplaced
Is this really how things should be?
We just sit around watching the suffering
But I say we let everyone know
They don’t have to do this alone
A busy mother comes home late again
To find her daughters life at end
Screaming and crying in grief and pain
Forsaking and taking God’s name in vain
But whose fault really is this?
Maybe if she was home more
And talked to her daughter more
Then it wouldn’t have ended like this
This is not how it should be
We shouldn’t sit back doing nothing
Maybe if we let everyone know
They don’t have to do this alone
Then more lives would be filled with hope
