OMG I just read that some people in Maryland (right above me state wise) have already gotten the HP book. And they didn't get it today, oh no, they got it FOUR DAYS AGO!!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!?!?!?! Apparantly they ordered it from this one site (no not e-bay or amazon) and that site shipped the books off and they arrived a LOT faster than expected. That's where most of the scans of the seventh book are coming from.

It's like with the last book when the bookstore gave 'em out too early. I know if I'd been one of those people that got a book early, I would NOT give it up for anything. Or, I would read it and then give it up for however much money they gave me. biggrin

O, and I'm such a nerd. My step-dad called yesterday and told me that he had picked up my HP display from the bookstore. I danced around the room happy as a cucumber.

See, this is the story: this dude named Scott at the Waldenbooks I usually go to know me and my family very well. We've always been going there, even after a B-dalton opened at the other end of the mall (and they have like NO good manga!). And, my mom has three kids, myself included, and we all love books so we're pretty good business. We come in there about every other weekend and buy about 50-100 dollars worth of books, and plus my big sis and I aren't loud like most teenagers and we don't read manga in there without paying for it, so he likes us a lot.

A couple of weeks ago, I noticed they had a seventh HP book cardboard display thingie in the front window (it was big too, about 6-10 feet tall) and it looked awesome! I remembered that a while ago, the EB games also in the mall had a KH2 display and we asked 'em for it and they said that someone else had already asked for it and that for most displays anywhere it's "first come first serve" for who gets it. So, we go in the Waldenbooks immediately and ask him for the display. No one had asked for it yet, so he said ok. However, he advised that we come in and pick it up EARLY friday morning, so that not many people didn't see us walk out of the store with it. My step-dad was the one going to pick it up (cuz I'm stuck here at my dad's house) so I told him "Get in there as SOON as it opens, park close to the door, and RUN with that thing to the car. HP fans will swarm you."

Well, just as I predicted, when he walked out of the store with that thing, people started making him offers. He had like 20 people make him offers for the thing or try to steal it. He got out of there without a scratch on the thing (I don't know how though), so I'm happy. I'm the ultimate nerd! MUHAHAHA!

And you know as soon as EB gets that KH3 display up there, I'm TOTALLY gonna ask for it. biggrin XP sweatdrop
