'Shadow of Destiny'....Is the corniest...out-of-the-way game in the world....But...I love it SO DAMN MUCH. It's my new Xenosaga. And not nearly as boring. blaugh

Eike coulnd't believe it. The image of Homunculas was still burned into his eyes...the red eyed figure waving as it dissapeared from his life,forever.
Could it really be over??All of this...All he'd been through...Let's see...
He'd been,so far...
Stabbed three times.
Run over.
Poisened twice.
Had a vase fall on his head...
Asphixiated.
Pushed off a tower not once,but three whole times..
And here he was...the whole venure over.He would have pondered more had the lamp not caught his attention;
'The lamps...Were they always this bright??'
He sat down were he sat in the middle of the town square,next to the flowers...HIS flowers...staring at all there was aroud him.
'These buildings...Were they always so...Big??The air...was it always this sweet??...The lights...The stars...Oh,god,the stars....'
He lay back where he sat and gazed at the universe above him. The stars...so bright...So sweet...Everything,so new...He felt reborn.After all of his harrowing deaths,after fighitng nonstop...he felt so refreshed.
He raised his hand to his face,touched it,and raised it to the heavens.'I've got to be...The luckiest person alive for realizing what was right in front of me...The fact....that life is so sweet.....I'm the luckiest man alive.....'
And there he lay,musing the stars,feeling the concrete he lay on,feeling the town around him,elated,his mind buzzing with refreshed vigour.

Was found the next day,paste on the ground;a drunk driver had run right over him that night during his musings and driven off somewhere,his last thoughts in the stars,and his last gesture,his bloody hand stuck up,reaching for the stars.

Yeah. Try beating a game and getting faced with THAT ending. I didn't know whetherto laguh or cry.
