as a kid i used to hate em. All that time when I couldn't do stuff that I wanted to do. I used to be hanging for sunset when I could get back to my regular rest of the week stuff.
Now I value the extra time. I can have a nap and still have plenty of time left over to read, bible study, go for a walk, watch a video, call someone or chat to friends online that i might not have time for in my regular week.
spend some quality time with my pretty rodent boys and basically just dump the weekly troubles for a day. weekly troubles willl still be there when i come back but I'll be able to face them with a clear mind and maybe see a new approach to them. It's a day to just put it all aside and spend time with God and family... Not pursuing ones own pleasure covers a lot but it also leaves a lot of leeway.
Maybe I'm lacking time (or motivation) to for bible study during the week... I still get the general gist of it on Sabbeth during Sabbeth school and Church... I also see me dad at church too.
I value my time outs... and to be able to focus on something and someone else for a bit.
..."I love every Sabbeth."
