Those songs I wrote are from the heart
And because I knew right from the start
That red roses and blue violets just wouldn't cut it
To me you're worth WAY more than just a LITTLE bit
But now I'm writing this poem for you
Not because it's just something to do
But because you're in my mind in a poetic voice
And thus a poem was my choice
So from the guitar to the piano
I used skills I never knew I had
To express my love in the art of music
I'm just happy when you like it; it makes me glad*
With formalities done a while ago
I went straight into my confession
In different forms, my love
For you destroyed my depression**
So how long again? Almost 2 years now? Wow...
Being together that long, I think fate somehow
Must have a reason for putting us together
So I know that this love will last forever
*I changed the rhyme scheme here from AABB to ABCB....I hope you know what this means...
**Okay, my depression THEN....now I just have battles inside of myself which may depress me a little...
Okay, that was just the first page. I might change up the rhyme scheme a bit from time to time. HITOMI, I HOPE YOU LIKE IT!!!! heart heart heart
