He's not happy where he is so he's joined the navy. I hope he finds what it is he's seeking but it means that he's not going to be on Gaia again for a long time... if ever again. I didn't get a chance to know him that well but he's got some interesting views and I would've liked to have the chance to get to know him better.
One thing that suprised me was he said when he told people he was leaving the were all "grrrr' 'arrrgh' 'We hate u lots.' Sheesh. It's his life and while I feel we have moral accountability what sort of reaction is that... seriously, that's kind of juvinile and pathetic. Why couldn't they have just wished him well in his new life.
I don't understand that at all.
