Here was i looking forward to a nice lazy Friday for a change when my much flustered, extremely weary adorable younger sibling rings up saying... "Help, Help. I've got an inspection between 2 and 4 I've made a start but I've got to go to work and I've been up all night dropping my boy off at the air port and getting lost on the way back and... and... If they see it looking the way it is now they'll probably kick me out and, and can u go and do the vacuuming and get the stuff off the floor and make my bed pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee."
To which I replied... "mmmmm... mutter mumble tired... oh alright... sigh... I'll take the next bus." and begin packing my week end bag.
I wish I'd packed extra clothes... I'd forgotten vacuuming makes me sweat like a pig.
I've even had time to scrub the carpets in various spots that really, REALLY needed it.
If they don't show I'm going to be irritable in the extreme. There was so much other stuff i could be doing... like random shopping, lazing about on Gaia, paying bills for mum, directing the gardening bloke...
Grrrrr.
And I think I'm due for a bout of hormonally inspired histrionics...sometimes being female is no fun.
This doesn't bode happy things for the weekend. razz
