Gallin smiled to himself. He had seen Katrina poke her head in the classroom then duck back out again rather quickly. It has been a joy seeing her all flustered, and I still have four more classes to deepen my effect on her. It seems a shame that all this effort should be wasted on a girl that... The tardy bell rang and Katrina trooped in with two of her friends. Quickly they took there seats giggling among themselves and casting glaces in his direction. He grew nervous losing his cool composure for a moment. Were they making fun of him. Had she just been pretending this whole time to like him. Not only did the idea hurt him, but it completely through off his plan. What should he do? Just then the teacher walked in and took attendance. "Today class you have your history presentations. I expect everyone to deliver theirs today. However Mister Driesten, since you have just transfered here you are excused from this assignment, but I will expect you to dutifully take notes and learn from your classmates' presentations." Gallin affirmed that he understood his teacher with a nod and smile. "Okay then. First up is June, Tiffany and Katrina. Are you ready girls?" "Yes we are Mr. Hansen," June replied. "Not like we have a choice to not be ready," she whispered to the other girls as they stood in front of the entire class. Gallin looked directly into Katrina's eyes and put on the most charming smile he could muster. With one hand he slicked back his hair, with the other he poised the pencil to take notes. He was going to enjoy this presentation if for nothing else but the visual aid.
