Future Role-Play
Cyberpunk role-play!
Ok, here we go.....I suppose I shall start with the setting. All right, the year is 2081, most of the governments have become weak and corrupt. The majority of political (and to a certain extent; military) power belongs to big business. Large corporations dominate the daily world. This story begins on the outskirts of Beijing, the business capital of the world. (Note: there are a multitude of reasons I chose Beijing. If you like, I could tell you, but not here.)And.......ACTION!

Our bios, just for furture reference (so we won't have to open something else):

    Name~ Sumaira Amor Tristis
    Codename(s)~ Entity or Essence
    Gender~ Female
    Age~ 20
    Species~ Human
    Class~ Spy/Assassin/Ninja
Hair~ Dark Blonde, almost brown, reaches about midway down her neck and then flips out, with bangs that would just cover her eyes, but are set to the right side of her face (which are often held by clips, but not always).
Eyes~ Pupil, then a gold ring, then green with blue clusters and then a gray ring
Complexion~ Slightly Arabian features, but a creamy caramel tone.
    Date of Birth~ August 17th
    Place of Origin~ Rhapsody
    Lives~ Nocturne
Abilities~ She is good with using and making materia, and she has many skills of which are unprecedented (where no one really knows all that she can do).
Outfit~ Casual-Long navy blue tank top shirt under a slightly shorter purple wide-necked long sleeve shirt where the sleeves are dark gray and of a sheer yet close-knit meshy material under an even shorter dark pink short sleeve baby tee where the sleeves start at her shoulders, black pants, and silver, black, and white sneakers. Agent-Black jumpsuit, black gloves, and black boots.
Accessories/Gadgets~ Casual-A silver belt over her layered shirts yet still around her waist, hair clips embedded in silver with one of each color she is wearing and that holds her bangs in place, a black ribbon choker with a silver swirl charm attached, black hoop earrings, a silver band ring on her right ring finger, and sometimes an earpiece radio (depending on whether or not she is working undercover, though the item is near invisible for how small it is). Agent-A black accessory belt that she filled with her own devices, most of which are unknown to the government (all they know is that she does a good job; it doesn’t matter so much how she does it). Also, onyx jewel stud earrings and black hair clips.
Personality~ While she has a mysterious air about her, she generally puts up a calm and collected facade and tries to be fair (weighing things out), but it’s kind of hard to do in her business. She has, henceforth, also been known to lose to her anger, and it is recommended by most not to push her patience. There is a thin line in which you either appease or displease, and you had better stay on her good side for your own sake.
Symbol~ § on the inside of her left wrist. She’s had it since she was a baby, and most are wary of it, thinking it holds some ancient connotation (whether good or bad, nobody can figure out).
Weapon(s)~ Since she can form the materia into anything, pretty much whatever she can imagine.
    Occupation~ Agent
    Parents~ Rineta and Leon
Other/History~ Growing up, she had a rough childhood. Both of her parents had worked for government agencies, and the many officials that had been sent to take care of her knew practically nothing about childcare. As can be assumed, she mostly taught herself how to do things, and the lifestyle she was forced to live gave her a strong sense of willpower and determination. She will rarely ask anyone for help because she thinks she doesn’t need it, and she gets mad at herself when she fails in something. Because she is so hard on herself, she has obtained a sort of perfectionist type agenda, so she thinks things through thoroughly before taking any action. Following in her parents’ footsteps, she learned a lot about the ‘dark arts’ and soon became the leading student in her class. No matter how much she has endured and through the many things that are unsure about her, one thing remains the same: With her, the government has a powerful ally, but if she were ever to turn against them, they’d be in serious trouble.

    Name~ Hideko Koru
    Gender~ Male
    Age~ 21
    Handle~ Chrome Razor
    Ethnicity~ Asian
    Class~ Hacker
Hair~ Black, short on the sides, and spiked on top
    Eyes~ Green
Complexion~ Pallid from the lack of sun
    Date of Birth~ November 19th
    Place of Origin~ Tokyo
    Lives~ Wherever
Abilities~ Interpretation, discernment, and manipulation of data. Skilled at programming and hacking.
Outfit~ Black fedora, long black trench coat, black t-shirt tucked into black cargo pants, with a black leather belt with chrome trimming, and black combat boots.
Accessories/Gadgets~ Handheld computer, data glasses (enabling the viewing of the transmission of data in real world terms)
Personality~ Reserved, quiet, intensely focused and driven.
    Symbol~ Circle-A
Weapon(s)~ Computer! Tries to be a pacifist as much as possible. Fights with information.
    Occupation~ Hacktivist
    Parents~ Unknown
Other/History~ Works as a loner in the real world. Digitally, he has a network of hacker contacts set up who know him simply as a hacker called "Chrome Razor".

    ((My first post. Enjoy! ^^))
Her name was Sumaira Amor Tristis, but to the government, she was more commonly known as either Entity or even more simply, Essence. They didn’t seem to care about how she was addressed over what her work had accomplished throughout the years. Despite her young age, she had long since graduated at the top of her class, and to them, she was indispensable. She slightly resented these facts, which her employers probably didn’t even realize they were presenting to her every time she was in their presence. However, she was perceptive, and she had noticed.

Shrugging the feelings off, as she considered them a sign of weakness, she continued down the long corridor, on her way for a new mission already. It hadn’t been long since her last one, but she hadn’t expected a vacation, or much of a break at all for that matter. No, she wouldn’t complain, as she had been lucky just to have the few days she’d had. There was a single item that always remained the same in her line of duty, and that was that there wasn’t enough time to have days off. When she was needed, she would report back, whether she wished it or not. Though, she supposed they couldn’t do much about it with her, but then again, she didn’t want them to think she had already figured that out. For her own sake, it would be best not to let them catch on to her true amount of intellect.

Upon reaching her destination, she opened the door in utter silence and closed it just as quietly. Walking forward, she knelt down before her leaders, one knee on the floor, her knuckles against that same hard material, and her head next to her other knee. But a few seconds passed before she was given permission to rise, and she rose as gracefully as if she had never been down. Standing in place, she listened through her operation briefing, her interest sparking as they got further along. Once they had finished, there was only one thing she had to say, and the words cut swiftly through the air as she spoke them.

    “Objective understood, sirs.”

They dismissed her then, without giving her any of the information. If she were caught with it, it could be deadly to them, and besides, she knew what she had to do. Though they didn’t exactly comprehend the amount of knowledge the young woman possessed, they were certain that she had memorized all they had said. This had been learned during her upbringing into the field she now worked, and her faults were minor. There was no reason for them not to believe in her abilities.

Their ‘secret weapon’ had exited just as stealthily as she had entered, heading back to her room within the facility. As soon as she grabbed her things, she would be on her way. Traveling swiftly through the hallways, she was in her assigned area mere moments before she was gone again. She would have to catch a train to her old hometown, and from there, she would fly out to Beijing. After that, well, her assignment would begin, finally able to be put into play.
