Book of angels: Chapter one.


"Yoshiko! Why are you late?!" Yoshiko raced in the room and took the nearest seat, she had stayed up late last night and forgot to set her alarm. she looked horrible: her hair looked like a sheep, she had mic math socks and pj pant's,
"Sorry" Yoshiko said my...uh....bike had rusted chain." she made up as quick as she could. Her teacher gave her a bad look, wicth she did often. Yoshiko's teacher had a beef with her from the begining,she aways went crazy over the smallest detail and got mad when somebody told her she was just overeacting. "alright let's begin now shall we!" said Ms jay "who would like to reveiw what we did last week? anyone? Yoshiko slumped in her chair, she knew she hadn' t studyed,was it her fault? with taking care of homeless people to working at the library, she could only get by in school, and with her parent dead leaving her with just a small sum of money to get help to run the house, Yoshiko felt like she was all alone in the world. "Yoshiko how about you." Ms jay said with a grin. Yoshiko thought in her head: Of corse!" she got up really slow and walked accross the floor even slower. It took Thirty minutes for Yoshiko to make up a two minute lesson. Yoshiko thought to herself " Needless to say i will get a F." "You'll never believe who Rei asked on a date! Ringo said at lunch "guess, guess, guess! Ringo didn't wait " Kisho!" "and guess, what he said yes!" " hey are you listening to me? Yoshi?" " what?" Yoshiko was stareing at an odd light that was so bright that you could in mid-day light,it like a shooting star, only at day time. "Riiiiiiiing!" said the school bell yoshi got up started clearing the table. " so,what new with you?" Yoshiko asked " Nothing, just getting things ready for my mothers birthday, are you coming? i have an invition in my backpack." "no" " why?" " cause i have to help out at the library and stuff like." Yoshiko said with a smile. Ringo said no more, she was mad cause she knew why Yoshiko didn't want to go. Yoshiko didn't like Ringo's mother, not because of any thing seriuos, she remined Yoshiko of her mother too much, and she even saw her she would begin to brust in tears, and that would ruein her friends party. Beside's she did have to help out that day. " well," Ringo said when she felt better " your still coming to my party, right?" " Definley,when are we going to that dumb? you said we'd go soon like Three weeks ago." " ........... how about the day after tomorrow? im not doing anything, what about you?" " lets see........i think i have to work later that day like at 4:00 to 6:00, but other then that nothing." " perfect! we can go at 2:00 and be back before 3:45, but if we get back late can you just take the rest of the day off, Please, for me?" " ok, ok ,ok, just stop begging." Yoshiko said and started laughing. Yoshiko had walked home and was helping the maid make dinner, she liked to help them out, that was one of Yoshi's best quality's, a liked helping out, she had a crave for being helpful, she got from her parents, Yoshiko stopped doing the dishes for a minute to think about them it must have sad to on that terrible night. Yoshiko took her mind back to that night, that dredful night, when her parents left her. " honey im sorry but you can't go to Akina's house tonight we have to go to a meeting and we you to stay here, ok?" " no it's not ok!" Yoshiko sremied, she never felt so angry and mad in her life. " Why can't i go to his house, uh? just for a minute, please?" " No, now please get in the car so we take you to Akina's house for the night, come on." " no, no! i don't want to go to that mean girl's house, she very ugly and mad and mean, no i want to go to Raidon's!" Yoshiko was crying, she wanted to go away forever and never come back. "Yoshiko! you stop it this very minute and sit still!" Yoshiko's mother said as she buckled her up. Yoshiko's dad backed out the driveway. After a while they came to railroad. " we need to get gas, after we cross this railroad we'll get some." he said what they didn't know was, that railroad had a brokon sign and did't tell you when the train was coming. unfortunately they run out of gas, in the middle of crossing the railroad. "we're out of gas. We have to get out and push, hold on i'll get my gloves out of the glove conpartment." Yoshiko mom said with a kind of shiver." Yoshiko thought she heard a somthing, a train. " mom." " not now Yoshiko, here take this and be queit." Yoshiko's mom handed her a lolipop. " mom listen can you feel that, dad can't you hear it?" "Yoshiko stop it this very instant!" Yoshiko's mom said " mom! it's a train! it's a train!" "Yoshiko!" both of her parents said at the same time " Yoshiko can you be queit just for one minute while me and your father push the car, please?" Yoshiko's mom said in a more clamer voice " it's probuly another train close by." " ok." Yoshiko's signed then as they got out they heard the train it was to late then. the train had gotton to close by then and when they got out the train went past and Yoshiko's parents with it. Yoshiko had been saved only do to the fact that just the front part made it over the rail. One of the people living near by saw and called the police, after that Yoshko went thuogh Quite hard times she sent to the orphanage twice and to at least six care homes before they found the the small amount of money and two maids left for Yoshiko by her parents. ever since then she moved back into her parents house and hired a bunch retireded women to help her the house, they said they would do it for free, and now there she was, sitting in her house, working at a local library to make a living. the only other people living in the house who could work a job, were Dai and Etsu the two maids left to look after Yoshiko. Estu had a brokon leg. It was better and she could walk, but it was in no condition to work with. so Dai had to work while her sister looked after the house and the other maids. Saturday was kinda gloomly but the weather man said it was just gray clouds, so Yoshiko went out to meet Ringo at the entrance to the dumb. "why are we here again?" Yoshiko said looking at the molded mattress laying across the entrance. "Because you wanted to, remember?" "yeah i know, i was just thinking why i asked." Yoshiko really didn't know why she'd asked. it was horrible, maggots ants and fly's every where, but the veiw was pretty nice once you got past all the garbage. you could see the town hall, the park, and the lake. in the winter, people from every where came down to lake for the big skating show, Yoshiko only liked to come so she could wait till all the people were gone so she could look at the beauitful ice. It glistend so beauitfully when the sreet light came on, to Yoshiko it made
her think about her moms eyes, they glistend the same way. Yoshiko sat back and wacthed the sky it had little fluffy clouds shaped like animals and other little shapes, Yoshiko wacthed the cloud go pass as she guess them in her head. Layed there just thinking about the cloud, sudduly Yoshiko was waking up,she looked down at her wacth, it was 4:45! she was late for work! she thought as she ran out of the gate, How did i fall asleep? How long? and where did Ringo go? She ran and grabed her bike and started for the library, then she remembered she had go to the house frist to get her ID card. she turned around as fast as she could and biked toward the house. Bust!!!! Yoshiko hadn't notice that her tire was busted. then it started raining Yoshiko wanted to thank the weather man after a while her bike started slowing down. yoshi looked under her bike at the brusted tire. " oh man, now what im a going to do?" Yoshiko said to herself. as Yoshiko was talking to he self she noticed a light shining in the near by woods. Yoshiko walked closer, as she did she could make out a pile of dirt and a book, but she couldn't make the thing shining, it was to bright. when she finally got close enough to see, a wing? " i must be dreming." But she wasn't seeing things, there it was a huge wing just sitting there. " ok." Yoshiko thought to herself "im going to touch it and if my hand goes thouh it then i'll know im dreaming." So Yoshiko touched that thing and yes her hand didn't go thouh so Yoshiko stood there just staring at it. When she looked closer she saw human body attached to the wing. " wait a minute!" Yoshiko said outloud. she looked closer and saw there not one, but two wings! Yoshiko had never seen such a strange thing,Then her mind come back into reality. She was so late for work now that by the time she got there her shift over and she'd have to back home. Yoshiko deciced to go over to and vist Ms ravi she lliked to talk to her alot. then Yoshiko looked over at the winged human laying on the ground, Yoshiko noticed the bookshe'd seen earlier, it was straped on her back with two rope's one going over each shoulder over across the front then around the waist, up the back over the book and back over the shoulder again. the book looked like nothing Yoshiko ever saw in her, she ben though just aboout every book in the library, but then again this was a little girl with wings sleeping in the forest. "well i can't just leave her here." Yoshiko thought to herself " ok then, i'll take you home and then go to the shelter." Yoshiko tryed to pick up the little girl, this was a dificult prosse because she had the bike under her and it was hard to lean over the bike and pick up the the winged thing, at the same time if she put the bike down she would have to pick it up again. after some time she manged to put her on her back and push her bike home. "ok how am i supposed to do this." Yoshiko was standing outside her house and was tying to find a way to get in without geting noticed. "5:15.........Etsu would be reading this time of day, if i could just sneek pass her." Yoshiko took a deep breath and took a step forward. it took a while for Yoshiko a few minutes to get to her room. Sai ( the gardener) was in the front yard planting some rose's, Ryoko, was doing the landary, and Rini was mopping the floor. " you've caused me alot of trouble." Yoshiko was talking to the sleeping girl with the wings. " don't go anywhere till i come back. as Yoshiko spoke, she cleared a space in her closet and layed down a blanket put the girl on it. Yoshiko took a shower a went to Ms. Ravi's house. When Yoshiko got home all she could think about was that demon or whatever it was sleeping in her closet, she barley ate any of of her food and hardly got the after dinner work done. By bed time ( wicth was about 10:00) all she could think about was that sleeping girl upstairs in her closet. " ok." Yoshiko thought to herself " i'll go to bed as the way i always do, but instead i'll see what i can find about this sort of thing." so Yoshiko said goodnight and got on the computer. " ok, Winged humans ." Yoshiko spoke as she typed it in. " ummm.........'a winged human is formanly known as an 'Angel' ,a fallen angel is an angel that has been banished from heaven'......umm, so this 'angel' must have been sent from heaven." Yoshiko said as she looked toward the closet, she noticed it wasn't closed as she left earlier that day, and the angel she layed in there was gone. Yoshiko took a deep breath and turned back to the computer. " where could she have gone?" "Could she have left? Could she have gotten out some how and in trouble with someone? could she still be in the house, maybe still in my room?" Yoshiko thought as she shivered uncontorlablely. Some how the idea of her still in Yoshiko's room seemed almost scarier then the thought of her some where outside the house. Yoshiko heard a rustle under the bed. She really hoped it was fluffy. (her white cat that liked to sleep under there) Yoshiko thought she would scream. She stood up from her chairwalked over to the bed, every step of the way Yoshiko's head was screaming turn around, run down stairs and scream for every body. as Yoshiko got closer to the bed she heard more rustling, Yoshiko thought " yeah, but what would i say? ' everybody there something in my room and its under my bed!" Yoshiko closed her eyes as she nelt down by the bed, she drew in a deep breath and looked under the bed.
