A short story for fantasy lovers, part 1
Girl

Fury raged inside her. Never had she felt so betrayed and so alone. If only she hadnt been so careless, even as her friends they are bound to let something like that slip. Had she taken care in who she gave her trust, none of this would have happened. She stormed across the shore of the coldersack and out onto the deserted streets. Autums leaves drifted in the gutters, crunching with dissaproval beneath her angry step. The unkempt lawns of the crooked little villas swayed and whistled in the beating gusts. The weather was changing it seemed, to match her newly found mood.
The wind swept her through a lonely alley. With her head bowed low, she watched her feet as they stumbled with haste. She stepped around swinging chains and emerged into a mid-town meadow. The weather gave no sign of seizing in its rapid growth, winds blew harder than hard and clouds rolled in at alarming speeds. It was un-natural and she knew that something big was coming.
The park was broken memories. A sinking exsistence that stood only on what once was. swings rocked gently of their own accord, and a see saw squealed as it rose from a worn and cracked tire. She crossed the skidding gravel, scanning the untouched grass that yearned to be ran upon once more. The wind cradled her long hair, asking of a dance. Clouds drew to a gathering and she watched them as they joined and mixed in dark and light. The sky sank solemly, bowing toward the shuddering earth. The clouds targeted the ground and fell like a graceful hawk in sight of its prey. She stood and watched, awaiting the horror she should have felt, but it did not come.
The sky roared an almighty roar, and she ran.
Her feet carried here across warm ashphalt, pressed her into the wind like a horse into battle. Her heart was becoming too large for her chest, for her lungs. She tripped, almost letting herself fall to the ground, but it seemed to wake her from her sense of hopelessness, and present her with a great need to escape what lay ahead. Darkness filled the windows of the houses around her. black silhouettes did not linger long in her sight, as shudders closed to mask the inhabitants and give useless protection. It was coming now. Built buy the heavens with one violent intention- to destroy. Panic rammed at her ribcage. It clawed and pummeled her insides for it had reached it's limit and wanted out. A dizzyness took over, swaying her and snatching her ankles from beneath her, and finally she fell. into hopelessness. into dread. into hands. into arms. into darkness.
