The sun set over an unknown land, at least to the likes of any Gelegonian, Alti, or human. Two teenagers sat by one of hundreds of surrounding cherry trees. The were eating watermelon. One of them had pink hair and icy blue eyes. She was attacking her watermelon, rather than just eating it. The other had spiky black hair and scary eyes. He was using a spoon. "Heyy, Talon!" The girl said, finishing her watermelon.
"Yeah," He looked up, spitting a few seeds. "What do you want to be when ya grow up?" She beamed. "I dunno, haven't given it much thought," Talon said, looking away. She blushed, enduring the awkward silence for a moment. "Stupid!" She punched him in the face. "Hina!" He recoiled, "What the hell?!" "Don't say those words!" Hina punched him again. "But! You're supposed to ask ME what I want to be if I ask you!" She shouted, breathing heavily. "But... I could care less," Talon said blankly. "Well, I'ma gonna tell ya!" She stood, angrily. Talon sighed and hung his head. "I'm going to be a Auro Jonai!" She smiled. "One of those do-gooders?" Talon frowned. "How dare you! You had a Yin once! Aren't you in the least interested in helping those future victims?!" Hina burst out. "I crushed my Yin, all the other mortals can do the same, the hard way" Talon said. "B-but... You love to fight, and they get to fight, a lot!" She protested. "Yeah, but, it's all about duty, and righteousness. Not my thing, really," He said, closing his eyes. "B-b-b-b-b-but..." She stammered. "Ooh, you just want me to do it with you," Talon smiled, narrowing his eyes. "Nooo!" Hina protested again, blushing. "Haha, I'll make ya a deal, Hina," He stood. "I'll learn to summon the Jonai Aurora with you. But there's no way in hell I'm becoming an Auro!" "Really?!" She beamed. "That'd be...! Okay." She couldn't help but smile. "Well, hell, those things are pretty damn cool, I'd like to get my hands on a weapon like that," Talon smirked. Hina slapped him. "What the?!" He rubbed his cheek. "I told you, don't use those words!" Hina boomed. Talon rolled his eyes.
