We moved over a week ago, on our first wedding anniversary of all days. I was at work, so Sean enlisted the help of both his and my parents. We went back to the Collinsville house over the course of the following two days to get the remaining little stuff (including the computer), clean out the place (leaf blowers inside = fun! ), do all the service transferring, forwarding mail request, moving phone and internet over, getting our deposit back from Robert... oi. sweatdrop
The house is still a mess, and will be for awhile. The big entertainment center in the living room will have to be anchored to the wall before we can get Sean's TV into it; that didn't stop him from putting everything else in it. Kitchen is all put away (by my sister), but I'm still working on making sense of locations and re-sorting stuff.
In work-related news: after 3 Fridays ina row of having just me at register from 8pm-10pm, I'm finally going to have some help. 4laugh The new guy started yesterday, and he's learning how to do outside stuff first. Hopefully he'll know how to run register when I need him. I got to be on an outside register yesterday for half of my shift. Nice weather + wind + lots of people = fun for a change, not to mention challenging in a good way. Funny thing is Steve (dept. manager) was under the assumption that I had allergies and couldn't work outside. rofl Siwwy Steve!
