Unimportance's
Deepest Depression
Song to listen to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?

Something happened in real life, and its perfect for a story.
I'll give you the quick summery, and see what you think about the plot.
Second half main character: Gray (me)
First half main character: Emma (First friend, then rival)
One main character: Edward (Loves Emma, but Gray loves him)
Side characters: Marance (Rival over Kyle When Emma liked him, and friend for second part)
Side characters: Kyle (likes Marane and Emma evenly, but ends up dating Marane.

Part one: First love Triangle

Its the end of summer, and Gray and Emma have been friends for years.
Only this year would Gray begin to start having crushes, and Emma would only start to have people like her.
Its the start of a new grade in school, and Marane (a new student in school) and Emma immediately become good friends, leaving Gray in the dust.
This causes Gray to become somewhat jealous of Marane, and out of anger she goes and befriends other people to hang out with: Edward and Kyle: the new students.
Gray soon learns that Edward is in love with Emma.
Gray tells her friends Emma and Marane about this information, but Emma doesn't care much for it, Even though Marane (all threw the story) if focused on setting Emma and Edward up.
Secretly, Gray is in love with Edward.
Now, Marane -sense the first time she saw him - had fallen in love with Kyle, but Emma had been for two years.
When they learn each of them like the same boy, they secretly consider each-other rivals.
Then Kyle starts dating Marane to make Emma mad, after she broke his heart when he asked her out, and she said never, even though she wanted to say yes.
Emma goes into a small depression, and turns to Gray, her old best friend for help.
Gray helps her all she can, and starts to trust Emma more and more.
Kyle stops going out with Marane, and turns back to Emma, telling her he loves her.
Emma says she loves him back, but thinks it would be wrong to date him, sense her friend Marane loves him so much.

Part two: Love leads to Depression

After Emma and Gray's relationship is finally patched up, over email Gray admits that she loves Edward, the person whom loves Emma.
Emma is shocked, but to repay Gray for helping her so much with the whole "Kyle" incidents, she swears she'll help make Edward love Gray back.
Because Gray and Edward are such close buddies, Emma thinks its going to be a snap helping Gray out, saying things like "You guys will be a couple, for sure!".
Gray and Edward are becoming closer and closer all the time, but Gray knows he still loves Emma.
And even though he knew Emma liked (Likes?) Kyle, he started giving up, Gray was actually quite happy, confident she had a chance of winning him into her heart.
But suddenly, Emma confesses that now she likes Edward.
Gray goes into a small depression, and locks herself away from the world.
A quiet and smart kid from school, short and silent, Kea, a japanese exchange student, soon becomes the light for Gray, and helps her threw the depression with reassuring words and funny emails.
But Gray can feel the deep hole in her stomach, and thinks about Edward all day.
Gray gets in a major fight with Edward over the emails, and she screams "FINE. GUESS WHAT, EMMA LOVES YOU BACK."
At the time, she didn't realize how much that would affect herself in the future.
Coincidentally, Emma starts emailing Edward flirty emails (when she saw the piece of paper Edward was giving Gray, that had his email on it).
Gray finds herself drifting away from Edward, and cries randomly when no-one is looking.
Then, in betrayal, Marane is helping Emma all she can to set up Edward and Emma, and Emma tells Edward that Gray likes him.
This sets Gray and Edward even farther apart, because now he feels awkward around her.
Now all Gray has is her friend Kea, who is now moving away.
Eventually, Edward and Emma are going out, and its the end of the school year, and even Marane has Kyle.
The story has no happy ending, and Gray finds herself alone and empty.
The story ends starts with a quote from Gray, and ends with another quote from her as well.

First quote:

"“When you love someone,
You can only wish they love you back.
In real life,
there are no guarantees.”

Second quote:
When you have a wish,
It doesn't always come true.
My story didn't,
And here I lay,
In my Deepest Depression,

Alone."

Please leave a comment for the plot (which has happened, and here I am.)
By the way, the happenings that are above, are mainly the reason I haven't been on gaia, because I was afraid I... I'd become even more unhappy, because coming here might be an excuse from the real world.
And it is.
