background: Though being the race of a Dark Elf, Ella is actually quite quiet, and much different from the normal stereo-type of her kind. She doesn't bother involving herself with meaningless bickering, and finds no interest in arguing, or trying to prove one's greatness. She's quiet, and if you speak to her, somewhat humble.
She wasn't immediately informed of her special, non-human reality, until she discovered her powers, while being bullied in a normal, human school, in the human realm.
That day, her parents exclaimed everything to her, that she was a pure-breed Dark Elf, with certain powers normal people couldn't obtain. It explained everything, her unusually pointy ears, her menacing purple eyes, and her un-humanness. This was when she was only six years of age.
In the following year, her father died, of an unknown death. This is after her parents and her two older brothers had moved to the Magical Realm, were they could live a life a bit more freely. The authorities couldn't tell what spell had done such a horrible thing to him, as he had turned a frightening marble blue, and cracked, caved in on himself, like a broken vase. After that, Devon, Ella's older brother, immediately left to find the culprit, and hasn't been heard of sense.
Three years later, the same year Ella Joined Medora's School of Magic, her mother died of the same terrible death her father had faced.
Now, Its just Ella and her eldest brother, Jacob, who now takes care of home while she boards at the magical school.
After her eighth year at the school, Ella was almost killed by the same magic that killed her family, but she was lucky, she was saved by one of the schools teachers, though, she ended up in a coma, until some few months ago.
She just recently came back to school, and she doesn't know most of the people who wander about, so she's especially shy now, keeping to herself, staying very quiet, only accompanying herself with her many books.
She may seem like a strong person, to feel like she can make it on her own, but she knows she's not, yet she fights it, and usually has to deal with a lot of inner demon's and guilt.
