It's not normal to find a yellow egg hanging by the window, but life at the shrine was getting stranger and more fun day by day.
"We'll have to keep a tally of all the creatures we take care of you know!" I whispered to Hari-chan before I dashed to the window. I slid it open and hugged the egg close, bringing it down into the house.
"Perfect...I'm going to go find a place for him in my room." I called over my shoulder.
"Hey! What about us?" Hari and Can shouted.
"I'm the one that's supposed to be watching them anyways!" I shouted back. Then it dawned on me! I rushed to my room, grabbed some posterboard and markers, then gently laid the giant yellow egg on my bed. I slid halfway down the hall bumping into both of them before I stopped myself at our table. Quickly, I wrote down who was raising what.
"This is fair. It'll decide who keeps what. Since this is my job, I'll have to have more than you to, because it's my job."
I wrote our names down and came up with this chart:
Chiharu-
Orindae
DandiidoDad Spore
Hermes Moon
Canaidea-
Biancambella
Haritsuki-
White Drome Egg
"See? This way we'll make sure it's all fair, and that I can keep both of my jobs."
Haritsuki glared at me, then slid the white drome egg off of her back.
"This here white drome stays mine. Okay? No one will take her."
I nodded.
"Of course. Let's see how this plays out, okay? Now, I'm starving. To the spa!"

Chiharu's Life: Raising Evolving Items, but, they're my family...
It's my job, but I love every part of it...except some parts. You see, working with evolving creatures is fun, but can be dangerous. But who cares about that? All I know is that there are adventures out there and we're going to have them!
