“Hello Everyone!” Aymie exclaimed at a desk. “Whaddya know we’ve already hit five chapters! And since we’ve only had a few questions we’re going to answer them anyways!”
“I don’t want to be here.” Raphael murmured playing on his DS. “I was just ordered to come."
“And I order you to put that thing away before I break it into tiny bits and then no more American movies for you.”
He sighed closing it. “Okay, our first letter. All names will be anonymous so no one gets embarrassed.” He opened an envelope.
How come your lives seem like the manga Loveless?
“That’s a good question.” Raphael put the letter in the shredder. “Loveless right now has quite a few fans, mostly girls and some boys. We’re just giving you a chance to see in the eyes of a fighter and sacrifice.”
Aymie stared. “Holy s**t that was more than a sentence. Anyways our next letter.”
What are Sacrifices, Fighters, and Wordspells? Oh and Restrictions
Aymie grinned burning the paper. “I didn’t think anyone would ask that. A Sacrifice is the owner of a fighter unit. They tell, in my case order, the fighter unit to use certain attacks. Once the Sacrifice is fully restricted the battle is over. Fighters are the ones who…oh whats the word, oh yea. Fighters execute the commands given to the from the Sacrifice thus creating Wordspell. Care to explain to them what that is?”
“Wordspell is basically like an incantation of what we want. It’s like a normal spell but it’s called Wordspell instead. The more experienced a fighter the stronger the attack and less breathing they need to execute the attack.”
“You’re not supposed to be playing your DS.”
“You need to finish explaining.”
“Anyways a Restriction is basically self explanatory. It restricts movement and inflicts damage on the Sacrifce and Fighter. If you don’t have the same names the fighter feels the Restriction twice to ten times as worse. You can get Restrictions just about everywhere on your body, and there’s no direct order in which to restrict.”
Raphael opened another envelope.
How do the battles work?
“I thought Aymie answered this but. The battles work by the fighter units declaring a battle. Most of the time the opposing Unit can accept or they can ask the sacrifice. Once the battle has begun the person who called the battle cannot retreat. Then they use wordspell to control anything in their environment or anything they can create. They don’t have turns but you can Restrict. Like Aymie said once the Sacrifice is fully Restricted you lose and the opposing team wins.” He sighed. “Are we done yet?”
“Nope we have one more and actually it’s for you.” She slid the envelope over to him.
He stared. “What is it?”
“Probably fanmail. You’re a much more likeable character while all I can do is whine.”
“Don’t they–”
“Don’t spoil Chapter Seven Raphael! Just read.”
He sighed ears flattening as he read the small paper. “ ’Dear Raphael. You sound really cute.’ Is this some form of rape?”
Aymie looked at the handwriting. "it's very feminine."
"You call this feminine!? THis is a guy writing to me! See the name?" he exclaimed shoving it in her face.
Aymie started to laugh falling out of her chair.
