My Journal Entries
This is my journal/diary/whatever-you-wanna-call-this-thing. It's for anyone to read because I don't care all that much. It contains a lot of random things and drawings.
Together as a family- April
Apr. 1:
The only thing about children having pets, is that often the pets have children.

Apr. 2:
The best words a family can say: "You don't have to clean now."

Apr. 3:
Pray to God when the sea is stormy, but keep rowing.

For Family Fun and Memories: Hold family meetings. Make sure everyone has a chance to be heard. No put-downs allowed. Discuss what isn't going smoothly and possible solutions, ideas for a future activity or vacation, and special needs of family members, or neighbors. Leave time to praise each other. Close with a prayer or song and a hug for each person. Don't forget to set a day, time, and leader for the next meeting.

Apr. 6:
Families should live so that they would not be afraid to sell their talking parrot.

Apr. 7:
Money talks. For most families it says, "See you later!"

As we grow older, it is easier to accept being out-run by our children than to be out-reasoned by them.

Spring -- nature's green light to all vegetation.

Apr. 19:

Apr. 20:
For Family Fun and Memories: Have a turnabout day. Children dress and act like adults, adults dress and act like children. Kids decide on the day's menu and prepare as much of the meals as possible. Everyone makes eachother's beds, switch household chores and make decisions in the role they are playing. At the end of the day, talk about what was good and bad about playing the part of someone else.
