Yep, it's that time of year again where one turns another year older. Unfortunately this time I'll be a quarter of a century old.....in otherwords I'll be 25. Yes that's right, 25. I know to some of you that may seem a bit old but I've been told by some that "you're only as old as you feel". Most of the time I feel quite old so yeah....
Anyways, I'll be out of town all weekend. My mom is having the usual small get together thing at her house for cake/gifts. Oh and for those who don't already know it's my sister Ashleys bday as well. She'll be 19. What a bday present when you're 6 huh?? So yeah, it's a joint party which most of the time is the norm. But besides my moms thing we have a few other people to visit like Ashleys dad afterwards. He's getting me stuff as well and we have to stop by his house this year since my moms is like a circus anymore (crazy drama). And in between we're stopping by Andys moms for a bit. Sunday afternoon I guess she plans on have a spaghetti dinner and cake for at least me (don't know about my sis).
The reasons people are going to all the trouble for me this time is:
1. I'm turning 25. From what I understand that's a big deal.....I guess.....
2. I finally completed the courcework I've been doing at home. It's been about 2 yrs or so and I finally finished my stuff. So I guess you could just say I graduated from "college", so to speak.
So unlike past years where my sister overshadowed me at our get togethers THIS year is going to be more about me which for a change, is pretty nice >.< I already know I'm getting about $50 from 2 people ad I don't know about my mom so that's $100 right there. And I'll be getting cards of cource and a few actual presents. Normally I don't get those.....yeah, it kinda sucks.
I just wanted to get this done on here so people know where I am and when I will return. I guess when I get back I can post what happened and what I recieved, but I don't know if people really care and if they do, if they really want to know.....Ah well. We'll see I suppose.
