The lying yet beautiful mocking bird in my life....
The mocking bird is a creature of many skills, talents- a very smart bird overall. And even knowing this, after the canary had decided to go to the bluejay, and leave the mocking bird, the sparrow was at his side. The sparrow was relentless in her caring for the mocking bird, making sure it could soon fly once more. And the sparrow thought the mocking bird was healing. And he seemed like he was.......until the robin came along. The robin, not knowing the mocking bird as well as the sparrow had, fell deep and hard for the mocking bird's song, unaware that the mocking bird was exactly what it's name entitled. A mockery of a truthful bird's song, confusing all other songs around both the sparrow and the robin. And yet- both still cared for the mocking bird....too deeply. And The sparrow fell. She fell, and sadly enough, the mocking bird let her. While all at the same time- the robin fell. And even worse- he let her. And so now, there were 2 birds. Each of them had fallen, and he led both of them on- making each of them think he was their only....until the sparrow found out otherwise. The sparrow ran across the robin. and asked her what was going on. And she never expected what was happening behind his song. Behind his lies.....and the sparrow- not wanting the robin to know the pain she felt- didnt tell the robin. And so when they departed- the sparrow left broken, and the robin in the highest spirits ever..........but now the question is....should the sparrow confront the mocking bird?
