standing in the dark center
watching as people stare in deception
darkness spreading at the feet
going down a hallway of no end
watching the sick
the old
the young and
foolish
hoping demise will come over swiftly
like a rose of the color of white
turning to the darkest of red
the blood of the innocent on the floor
with the red skies of hell reining over ahead
u look up and wonder
where am i
who am i
what is my purpose and my ambition
is there any meaning at all
love and hate
happiness among the people
what are these emotions that i cannot feel
am i in hell
or in a crude joke played by those around me
u sit and wonder for all eternity to find no answer
but the thought of nothing
