… Its cold hands gripped my throat tightly, and as I grabbed it’s wrists to fight it away, I realized this thing was not a person, it was death! I smacked it away and ran, ran faster than I ever thought possible, trying to escape my inevitable fate. Suddenly, my feet grew heavy, and every step became excruciatingly painful, and then it happened. Death appeared before me yet again, but he came from out of nowhere, this time with his scythe in hand. He revealed his face to me, and gave a horrifyingly evil laugh, and then he spoke the last words I would ever hear, “Your time has come, and your soul will be mine for all eternity!”
My eyes forced themselves open, and I was back in bed. I sighed in relief; it was all a horrible dream. Yet, I felt as if though I had been strangled, and I quickly got up to look in the mirror. As I turned on the light, I realized it was not a dream, for there were long, boney, finger marks all around my neck! My face turned ghostly white, my heart pounded hard enough to rip through my chest. My supposed dream was not a dream, it was a look into my future, and I was guessing that this future wasn’t too far away.
