I'm gradually learning more techniques and ways to help develop my own style, I even bought some brand new multiliner pens recently and am re-reading a instruction book on how to color with my copic sketch markers. (a mangaka coloring staple) and there are also plenty of tips on making inked pieces, like for one the type of paper used by mangakas are done that they draw out something in pencil and trace over the final piece with the real paper. I keep one habit that tends to help me when I'm working and thats to listen to music, it helps drown out distractions from the other people living around you. I listen to alot of L'Arc~en~Ciel when I am drawing nowadays. I'm trying to write some of my ideas in a notebook, it's really just about anything that I come up with for from action scenes to simple comedy gags. Or how to solve a plot hole of some kind in my story. I'm looking to invest some money on some top quality art supplies to further my ablities. So far I've mastered the color dubbing with some of my pieces and they look quite impressive, aside the fact that I'm missing some key colors (which is why I require to invest in more sketch markers for one).
